No Green Lantern that month?

That book is plagued with delays.

Sad news about Solo and Manhunter.

Good to see Jonah Hex getting the Tpb treatment, that series definitley deserves it.

No Aquaman that month either.:(

Too many good titles... Batman, Detective, Superman, Action, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Titans, JLA, Martian Manhunter, Trials of Shazam, Robin & Nightwing for me... Oh, and 52!!!

I may drop a title by then... I really wish we had a GL title this month!!! =/

I also bet Manhunter is being rebooted.

Wouldn't not have GL be the same as dropping a title?

Shazam Family Archives and Trials of Shazam stand out for me!

No. GL is awesome.. I meant if my interest in any of the titles fades... I'd drop one of those.

It's a shame that Solo is being cancelled. It was one of the best series DC has put out in recent years.

Nice. It seems that Cyborg is in the JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA group picture. Didn't see any other Titan membes in there. So looks like that's the answer to which Titan will be graduating. :)

It doesn't really represent what will happen in the issue. From what the solicit said, it's not even one of the covers for #1.

I'm excited for Paul Dini's run on Decetive Comics. It sounds awesome. Grant Morrison's Batman sounds fun. The rest was meh.

OMAC #2
Written by Bruce Jones
Art and cover by Renato Guedes
The last OMAC managed to escape Firestorm - now he finds himself in Las Vegas, but still with a deadly mission to complete at the heart of the United States' military. Success in this mission will unleash an even greater danger, but what chance do any of Earth's heroes have against the One Man Army Corps?
And while the man who has become OMAC is far from the war machine that is OMAC, what hope does he have to prevent freedom's downfall when he doesn't even know the menace he carries inside him?
On sale August 2 o 2 of 8 o 32 pg, FC, $2.99 USForget the comic itself...this solicitation is spectacularly bad.

Actually, I think that's both covers. The left side is the Green Lantern/Green Arrow one, and the right side is the Superman/Batman one.

bye bye, Boston Brand:

DEADMAN #1
Written by Bruce Jones
Art and cover by John Watkiss
Brandon Cayce is cocky young pilot for a major airline who likes to fly right and party all night. With his older brother Scott at the controls, Brandon is "deadheading" a free flight with a hangover that won't quit. Without warning, Scott deliberately crashes the plane into a downtown London skyscraper. Brandon is killed in a horrifying wreck, along with everyone on board.
And his day only gets worse from there.

Still, all those people aren't on the JLA team.

Has anyone ever defeated Monsieur Mallah by clubbing him over the head with the Brain? Because it's such a bloody hilarious idea that I can't believe no one's thought of it before.

And wow, DC's really stepped up their trade program. That's a remarkably quick turnaround on INFINITE CRISIS and the Superman and Batman "One Year Later" books.

DC Reach a new low this month judging the solicitations for the Flash. Guest artist Karl Kerschl. Issue 2 and a guest artist already??
This is just ridiculous. Don't solicit a book until you have issues in the bag. No way will I pick the Flash up now, and they Almost had me interested enough to try it. Not now

For me it's:
Batman and the Monste Men
Batgirl: Destructions's Daughter (maybe - I haven't read Kicking Assassins yet)
Batman: Face to Face
Superman: Up, Up and Away

I might have been interested in Superman: Infinite City, but $18 for 96 pages? I'll wait for a particularly good eBay deal.

I see they've also sunk to a new low by splitting Justice up into 3 parts. It's listed as 160 pages. Does anyone know how many of those pages are the original comics and how much is padding?

Forget the comic itself...this solicitation is spectacularly bad.

no kidding--that IS an awful one. probably doesn't help them sell a new miniseries when i've got to read the solicit five or six times to understand what the heck it means.

Or the guy that wrote it procrastinated on it until the very! last! second! and then had no time to go back and reread it.

Or he was drunk.

I'm usually a big Marvel fan, but I decied to give most year one dc titles a shot. The problem I have is just reading from the solicits for that month there isn't anything that gives me the gotta have it feeling. I think DC had a good oppurtunity to get new readers with this oyl stuff just I already feel like its puttering out.

Sounds like the Wonder Woman of Allan Heinberg is not Diana, based on the solicts. I bet it's Donna Troy. I like the idea, if it is true.

how does Bruce Jones have the time to write like 10 books in a month?

Because he oonly puts a dozen words in each book - and they usually involve women's clothes falling off
