I am still new with DC but the one thing that has always goten me with the justice league is its size.It just seems alittle to big , to many auxillary members etc or active members at one time showing up in all the books.I think alot of members don't exactly fit the bill for membership.
EX BLack canary an the other street level chars.
THe justice league to me should always be the heavy hitters for the biggest problem there member ship has alot of people that don't seem to fit that bill.
Green Arrow, Batman, Black Canary
Finally if thier a league an a true team shouldn't they dress more unified maybe i don't know costumes that go to gether all wearing some amount of RED WHITE an BLUE for thier country. The JLA just seems so mismatched to me an badly put together sometimes i was wondering what others thought.

Hmm...reading your post I'm not sure you understand the DC Universe. You don't think Batman should be in the JLA?
Personally I like the JLU version of the Justice League the best. I think the League should be every hero of the free world with a rotating Council that would control the League. Now after the events of IDC and IC...I'd make it so that you had to be a member of the JL to operate as a vigilante and they would work as an internal hero police force as well as protecting the planet from major threats.
But that's just my silly ideas and obviously no one at DC pays me to write anything...

That's really pretty much how the JLA is in the comics, except not as "official" and they don't all hang out at the Watchtower every day. I mean, Oracle can contact anybody and tell them to go help the League, and they always follow her order.

JLU showed that a huge, rotating roster could work. However, the League's Satellite Era line-up to me is just right with 14-17 members. That's large enough to keep things interesting.

I agree, to have the same highest powered members on the team all the time can be boring after a while, it's more intresting if other members shows up now and then.
I think the last JLA was to much about high power members and less about temawork.

For me, the JLA works best when you have a balance of characters, both power-wise and personality-wise. I loved the satellite era JLA for this very reason.
Also, before you condemn the presence of non-powered heroes on the JLA, check out some of their appearances in the book. The better writers can structure a story that will allow these characters to shine. I'd recommend reading Morrison's run, as his use of Batman highlights this point perfectly.

Or we could have a super buddies team too with the more human and funny peoples in.
They can have their high power JLA if they want too:D
