what was the deal with this crossover from a few years ago? Where they tring to kill the joker but ended up backing out? I checked wikkipedia but it didnt have anything on it. Can someone tell me about it or give me a link to a site that says what happened?

Joker thoughts he was dying, so he gassed an entire prison of supervillains to drive them insane and turned them loose on the world. The heroes stopped it, Joker lived, the end. There, I just saved you a good 15 bucks that would have been otherwise wasted.
