The costumes look better than I thought they would. Now if the Legion only wore these costumes in their monthly comic book they might look half way cool :cool: .

I really like Brainiac 5 and Timberwolf. I like the simplified Legion emblem, and love the fact that Bouncing Boy is in. I can live with Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad, but am not wild about the "Wednesday Addams" version of Phantom Girl. I still have no use, whatsoever, for Superboy!

This isn't the sort of animation I tend to enjoy, but like Wild Card said, me and y'all here aren't the target audience for this book.

Much as I hate what has been done to the Legion in the comics over the past couple decades, I'm glad they are launching a cartoon series. Hopefully it will inspire future generations of LSH fans.

I agree, but I think the producers know who read the comics, and who will want to watch the show. If the writing is truely bad then that is a very poor decision, not just because they are aiming at "6 to 11 year olds".

...but that's what I said when I fist saw the Teen Titans, and that show turned out to be pretty darn awesome.

Well you have some people that are so ignorant that they would rather cast poor judgement on the show before a preview trailer or the premiere episode comes out.

I say they could bitch all they want because Im sure the show is gonna do well despite the folks who bitch about it.

I actually like most of the designs and the costumes. It seems very Brad Bird-esque more than anime. But it is highly stylized, so I can see why people don't like it.

On that note, Brainiac 5's design is AWFUL. I HAAAATE it. Partially because he looks like Beast Boy from ATT, but otherwise...just ick.

I tend to agree that the designers could have Brainiac look less of a stoner but the main problem I have with the design is Phantom Girls eyes.

My opinions is based not only on the picture of the team but also on the description of the show's premise that has already online. THAT'S how I can make a statement about both the look and the writing.

However, maybe your right. Maybe I am jumping the gun by declaring a horrible translation before a single trailer or teaser clip has surfaced. One of the joys of living in a demnocracy is the right to form an opinion based on the available data. Also, living in a democracy allows you to state that perhaps I should wait to form said opinion until the show has started and then base my opinions on the finished product. It also allows you to make nasty comments concrening my intelligence if so choose. Of course this not really an approved course of action when engaging in a debate, but hey, free country.

In any event, I still have bad feelings as to how the show is going to be. However, in the interest of being an intelligent reviewer, I will watch at least the first episode or two. If I am wrong, then I will gladly admit it. In fact, I would rather be wrong about my worries than right since I have been wanting a Legion cartoon to be created since the Legion appeared in the Superman cartoon in the 90s.

If asked, it's not the style of animation I'd have sought for the series, but I kind of like it. It also looks really good as the desktop on my HD monitor!:p
