Theres always talk of which TV shows enede way to soo, or which ones went on too long, but which ones were on just long enough. Which shows did all they needed too, said everything they needed to, and ended without losing too much in the way of quality.

Seinfeld (say what you will about the last episode, it was good right up till the last season)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (better later seasons than TNG or VOY)
Cheers (it could have kept on going, but Danson wanted a movie career)

I second the Cheers thing.
You know, I always thought the Sam/Diane thing was overrated.

Big O. I know a lot of people complained at the ending, but it ended without going bad, which I doubt it could have done if it kept going.

Angel: I know alot of people say that it ended before it's prime but atleast it ended on a good note. If it kept going it would have probably ended up like Buffy during the last two seasons.

the Mary Tyler-Moore Show
Mad About You
Family Ties
Newhart
Action
M.A.S.H.
They all went away, leaving me wanting more. Not too many shows can say that, even ones I really loved!
Boy Meets World was always amazing to me, because it got on, and stayed on the air for so bloody long! I HATED that show!
