hey everyone. i'm new here. i'm a BIG BIG fan of boston legal, especially william shatner. he is theee man. GREAT ACTOR, i must say. i actually saw him on this tv show called 'LIVING IN TVLAND' a few weeks ago. it was very entertaining! has anyone seen the show yet? they dedicated the very first episode to him. next wednesday @10p, dick van patten is gonna be there for the season finale. i found out on tvland.com/originals/litvl. you can even preview the series on the site. :D
Boston Legal is currently one of my top five favorite shows on tv right now and a big reason is Shatner. His character is the shizzle! Denny Crane!

As soon as David E. Kelley abandons the writing and leaves it to the underlings, the show will tank just as has happened in all his shows.
However, the last episode was written by some different people and it was very good. It didn't quite have David E. Kelley's mastery of dialogue, but Alan Shore's closing was still very entertaining.
I wonder if Kelley is experimenting with writers that have different viewpoints from his own?
