I haven't really paid attention to it. I do know about the pre-crisis bottle city of little kryptonians.

What's this one all about? Is it a city from Krypton and are there Kryptonians really living there? Is is in a bottle?

Are we going to have superpowered little guys flying around again?

If they find Argo - is it really a Kryptonian city (this is still a version of whether SG is real)? Do we get another slew of Super-types?

We are not far away from the superhorse and money era. Supes ain't a big deal of you come up with 1000s of him.

Kandor's a Kryptonian city-state in a, well it's sort of a bottle, in the Fortress. It has a mix of what I assume are real Kryptonians and aliens, but the machinary that keeps it stable (the Fortress machinary) creates an artificial red sun effect, so any Kryptonian in Kandor has no powers, and any Kryptonian that goes into Kandor only has their powers until they use up their stored energy.

How it got this way I don't know. I've only read the Godfall arc, which established the new status quo before Supergirl #6. I haven't read the story of how Superman got Kandor post-crisis.

However: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kandor

Kandor has gone through some changes according to "Godfall." The biggest one is Brainiac now being the abductor of the city, which means that he probably has a new origin as well. Hopefully they'll explain Kandor's new history in upcoming issues.

So if they are Kryptonians - we are back to the zillions of survivors like we had Pre-COIE?

It was a big deal that Supes was the only survivor. Then we had that Kryptonian goddess show up, then Krypto (alternate U), then Kara and now a city full of them?

Not so special. I wonder if some of the dudes get out of the bottle, become big and heroes - will they sleep with WW?

The thing is, the Kandorian Kryptonians might not even be real Kryptonians, but think they are due to the time distortion that zoomed them through a hundred years of historical revisionism about Kal-El and Krypton.

I'm sure Kandor's status will be cleared up in Supergirl.

I doubt it. There will likely be just a handful of survivors.

Would a Kryptonian goddess really count as a Kryptonian? Would the Greek pantheon count as Terrans? In any case, we know that most of the aliens living in Kandor are not Kryptonians (that is to say Kal-El's humanoid race). True Kryptonians seem to be a minority.

I never thought Superman being the ONLY survivor made him special. He's special because of who he is.

I thought Last Son of Krypton had a ring to it as compared to:

Last Set of Dudes from a Bottle from Krypton
Last Daugher of Krypton
Last Daughter of Altenate Krypton
Last Goddess of Krypton
Last Dog of kind of Kryptopn

As who is he is - Kal-el isn't that special anymore. He's pretty portrayed as just another Super-doofus. Captain Marvel (Billy) has more heroic purity, IMHO.

Kryptonian Goddess?

I'm hoping this is the right thread to ask, but that villain from Austen's run...he was a Kandorian(sp?) citizen who somehow escaped, right?

There are problems with Superman and Captain Marvel existing on the same Earth. Both deserve to be "the greatest hero of Earth" but they can't if they exist on the same one.

You mean Preus, the blonde Krypto-supremacist?

Yep. Was he from Kandor?

EDIT: Oh. Found it. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preus)

It's too bad Preus wasn't put in better hands after his introduction. He had real potential as a villain. Oh well.
