In this month's Total Film (UK Movie mag) there is this (http://www.totalfilm.com/__data/assets/thumbnail/515613/quiz115a.jpg) photo montage which is suggesting the title for 25 horror movies. It gives away one to show how this is done: an eyeball being turned on a stick above a fire & atop a tombstone reading "Total Film Reader" is I Spit on Your Grave. Plus there are a few more hints here. (http://www.totalfilm.com/features/specials/montage_round_115)

The problem is I've got 22 of them now but am unsure on one of the remaining & clueless on the other 2, so thought I might open things up here.

Spoiler space for anyone who wants to try this for themselves

Starting from the left, so far I have:

1. The Ring
2. I Spit on Your Grave
3. Candyman
4. Hellraiser
5. An American Werewolf in London
6. Interview with a Vampire
7. Braindead
8. Peeping Tom
9. Salem's Lot
10. The Last House on the Left
11. Rocky Horror Picture Shop
12. Shadow of the Vampire
13. The Birds (unsure of this as seems to obvious, plus hints page says: "And yes, the birds are part of the game." and I don't imagine they would give the title away in a clue)
14. The Hills have Eyes
15. Freddy Vs. Jason
16. Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer
17. Curse of the Cat People
18. Pet Sematary
19. Switchblade Romance
20. The Wicker Man
21. The Silence of the Lambs
22. No idea as the clues state it is not Howling III
23. The Fly
24. No idea. All I could think of was Single White Female, but don't see why the "New York Star" is relevant?
25. Ride With the Devil

Well there we go. Any help will earn my undying gratitude.

Number 24 is Carrie.

I believe it's the name of Sarah Jessicas Parker's character in Sex And The City.
Still working on the other two....

Also, I believe Ride With The Devil was a western, the last one is more likely to be The Devil Rides Out.

I haven't been able to call up the image, but there's THE DEVIL RIDES wout (Hammer horror with Christopher Lee) and RACE WITH THE DEVIL (American B-movie with Peter Fonda and Warren Oates being chased by satanists), so make sure you get the correct title.

Which pic is 22?

It's the clock with the wolf's head on the hour hand.

Thanks for the help so far guys!

22 might be Hour Of The Wolf (Vargtimmen) a 60's horror directed by Ingmar Bergman.

The only thing I can think of for number 13 is The Birds but as already stated, that just seems to obvious.

Hope this helps.

Which film is the guy in the purple suit?

I thought Sarah Jessica Parker was "Thinner" because she looks anorexic in that picture.

The guy in the purple suit is Alan Wicker. He is a u.k travel journalist. Hence the film is The Wicker Man.

Well, the answers (http://www.totalfilm.com/features/specials/montage_answers_-_issue_115) are in & it turns out it was The Birds & you were right on Hour of the Wolf, but I didn't get my answers off in time as I was unsure about the Birds.

Well thanks to you & everyone who helped anyway.
