I decided that this is a good time for those who are fans of this ship to post your favorite moments, along with some scans if you have them, that involves the couple as a way to remember the good times before Quesada ruined it.

*Sigh* He's not planning on ending the marriage, or at least he hasn't said so.

He clarified his position, which is, essentially, "The marriage is really bad, but killing her off or divorcing her would just make things worse."

I'm not a big Pete/MJ fan, but the classic "Face it tiger! You just hit the Jackpot!" scene has got to be up there :p

Damn you Joe Q!!! He just had to open his mouth and get everyone worked up didnt he? This is what? The 10th thread about the marriage? Sweet jesus can we please stop talking about it until he does more than just complain about it?!?!?!? I don't want him to mess it up but even worse is all these threads where everyone continuously speculates about whether he is going to or not before he even states anything that specifically says he is going to. I know this isn't one of those threads but it has still sprouted from the countless other threads about this topic. Please no more marriage threads. They are destroying my mind.

New theory ;)

We've all been going at this from the wrong angle: How to get rid of Mary Jane. Ah, but now let's say the Symbiote split into two parts before Carnage. Let's say it reproduced, turned into a Peter parker clone (because that's never been done before) and kidnapped the real Peter Parker and hid him somewhere. Then, the symbiote clone, we'll call it Venage -- or Carnom -- or Petom Parnage -- whatever, it married MJ! And all this time it has been trying to supplant Peter Parker, and when the real pete escapes, he is really sad that MJ could be fooled and after all that time, doesn't really know her anymore so doesn't want to stay married to her.

Then, we find out MJ is pregnant with the symbiotes symbabies! After she has them, she marries Luke Cage in New Avengers annaul 2, which sets the precedent that Luke Cage must marry someone in every Avengers annual. Then, years later we learn that MJ had an affair with Norman Osborne and had Ninja Twins who are named Luke and Leia...

I loved the issue of ASM where they reconciled in between Spidey and Cap fighting guys out to kill Dr Doom.

After that, I love the scene where Peter is showing Mary Jane how he can tell what kind of lightning is flashing in the sky.

I have a fondness for a scene in which MJ beat up a stalker and then said to herself, "DO I really want to be an actress?"

Yeah, I love the Doom/Cap episode, it's great. Not just for that but for the "How do you do that sir?" "WHAT?" "Speak in all capitals like that") and Cap's "The mask is there to hide your face, not your heart son."

And Spideys comment to MJ: "Is that guy for real?"

Wow. Read the post FULLY before you decide to respond. I said that I know this isn't one but it has been made due to the amount of speculation threads running rampant on here right now. Unless you decide to fully read what I say, please don't respond to me thinking you get the point because you obviously do not.

By the way, where are your Spidey/MJ moments? You shouldn't try and tell people what to say in a post if you don't say it either.

Maybe you shouldn't try being a Dick towards posters that didn't even have a chance to post their moments and would rather have an argument instead of participating.

Im not even gonna bother getting into a flame war with you since It's obvious you are trying to start an argument to try to ruin this thread.


On topic. My favorite moment was when MJ was trying to comfort Pete when Gwen Stacy died, not a MJ/Pete fan but that was a heartfelt moment.

I'd go with the two-parter during the Michelinie/McFarlane run where MJ was kidnapped by Jonathan Caesar and Spider-Man went on a rampage to rescue her. Caesar was a first class nutjob, and watching Spider-Man and MJ take him down was so so sweet!

So MJ tricked the stalker to come closer and then she maced him and beat him up wih her purse.

Another great, and classic, beatdown delivered by Mary Jane was the time she whooped Chameleon with a baseball bat in Spectacular 245.

Oh and thereīs a great scene in the beginning of Spider-man(Vol.1)#78. MJ and Peter are on the subway. Peterīs resting his head in her lap since heīs feeling a bit sick from being bitten by Morbius. Three thugs approach them and most likely want their money. MJ stares them down without blinking and the thugs simply walk away.
The whole scene is quite the badass moment for MJ. So I wonder if anybody would be abel to scan it?

No I'm actually trying to state an opinion about how ridiculous the topic of Peter and MJ is getting. If you don't like that, it's your problem. If I was saying something so horrible, I would be banned. But I'm not. I'm giving my opinion on this matter. The only person being a dick here is you because you feel the need to ridicule me just for saying my piece. Sorry if I don't feel the need to participate on the 10th Peter/MJ thread but I just figured I would tell the truth instead of getting all upset over something that probably won't happen because 1) Joe Q already said he wouldn't try it a dozen times because it would royally screw things up and 2) too many people have spoken up about it and too many people would walk away.

Ok, but i really think they are not going to end this marrige as long as the book sells good.
And they can always improve the storys quality before changing anything that big in SM's life.

I'm not much for this family life SM, but as i'm not reading the Amazing it doesn't matter much.
