What is up in HULK

First off if you havent been reading Hulk, here is your chance to run from the computer and to your comic shop to grab some Hulk issues. Hulk right now is some great stuff, and I have to say its only been that way for the last 3 issues. So its not too late to get in on the goodness. If you dont want to pick up issues 92, 93, or 94 this thread can catch you up to speed so you'll be ready for 95. I'll try to keep it as spoiler free as I can but I cant promise anything.



Issue 92 starts the Planet Hulk story line.

In the Planet Hulk arc, Hulk lands on a hostile planet after being sent there by the Illuminati(sp) which he is not in the least happy about. On this planet Hulk becomes a gladiator fighting his way through the various nasties of the planet while in coming across some of the better supporting characters out there right now. There is an evil emperor that rebels on the planet want to overthrow, the rebels would love to have Hulk in their corner, but thus far he hasnt shown any intrest in helping them out. It is set up in at the end of issue 94 that Hulk will have to face off in the arena against Silver Surfer. It should be some great stuff. Thats a real rough outline of things, and should be good enough for anyone thinking about jumping into the Hulk books. But, again I have to say youd be doing yourself a favor by picking up issues 92,93, and 94

You'd be doing yourself a Huge, Huge favour. Planet Hulk has been absolutely excellent so far. I actually had stopped reading Hulk a few years back and so wasn't on board for the start of this. But after hearing good things, I went down to the Comic Shop and picked up the first 3 issues of the run. I was not dissapointed. Planet Hulk is probably my favourite thing I've read from Marvel in the past 6 months. Pick it up.
