Incase you guys dont know tonight will be the last episode of 7th Heaven. So now is a good time to talk about some of the good moments ant not so good moments of the show.
To me 7th Heaven was good during the early season. Ruthy was the adorible little girl, instead of the harlot that she is now. But in later seasons the show began to overstay it's welcome with the viewers and became an empty shell of what it once was during the early seasons.
So when 7th Heaven's Final Episode ends I'll remember it as the show that was great but it sadly didn't end when the show was still popular instead of laughable.

And let's not forget the rumors that the CW is still trying to continue the series in some fashion though nothing's been confirmed.

Well I hope that is a false rumor. BTW what is CW?

That's the new network being made up out of UPN and WB.

Well that finale was pretty bad. Not only they gave us a copout of Jessica Biel only showing up in some bogus flashback and when she was out of town talking with her husban on the phone but three of the Camden family each having twins.
Thank you 7th Heaven and I'll always remember you back when you use to be a good show.

About time.
The only reason I even watched it was because of Jessica Biel. And even her presence hardly made it worthwhile. Thank god she left/was fired years ago.

To this day the last great final episode I saw was Wonder Years. It ended everything perfectly and wasn't as half-ass like this one.
Yes it's a good thing Jess left when she did I wish her luck on her Movie career.

I liked the Wonder Years finale, as well. It was heart breaking.
But my favourite series finale of all time was Angel's.

Despite the Cliffhanger yeah that was pretty good.

I watched 7th Heaven through to the end. I just couldn't stop watching the trainwreck that the show became. I mean...a couple of recent episodes were literally Oreo commercials! But...the finale could have been much worse. The only really bad thing about it is that they didn't showcase an actual reunion between Mary and the rest of the Camdens. They let her get away with a Brandon Walsh appearance. So that kind of sucked. I'm glad it's over and I'm glad it went out on a reasonably good note...at least one that was better than most of what the show's offered over the past few years.

I don't know how much was left, but my DVR quit right after Sandy showed up.:evilangry Could someone please let me know what happened after she came through the gate.

She just says her and Simon need to talk and they join the rest of the cult, oh, I mean "Family" for dancing.
Not that I was expecting much from a series that had fallen so far from my favor that it's a miracle that it has lasted this long, but what crap!! Yeah, Biel's appearance was total copout garbage. If it were just the scene of her talking with Carlos over the phone, you could chock it up to not wanting to be around the other cast members, but they've got a scene with her, David Gallagher and Stephen Collins!! Would it really have been that much of a stretch to include her with the rest of the cast? (OT: did you know Beverly Mitchell is actually older than Jessica Biel?)
And all that, "We're having twins, too!!" crap? Can someone say Velveeta?!?!
Yeah, the show should have ended before Ruthie became a teenager. I remember when that child was toothless!!

For a family that was supposed to be religious the Camden's seemed to like DA SEX. I mean..how many charactors were pregnet , sleeping togethor and had kids during this show. MADTV had a funny sketch about that years ago.
I'm sorry about the show. CW may revive it since they need solid hits for all the new markets they'll hit soon.

Thanks Kenk. Are you sure Bev is older than Jess? Early episodes sure don't show that.

I never really saw the appeal of 7th Heaven. I guess it was due to it supposedly being a family show as Stephen Collins was a minister but it like all of the 90s nighttime soaps lost its way.
Jessica Biel was the best thing about this part of town and after she left it was easier to find other distractions.

There's rumors floating around now that the CW has picked up the show. No real confirmation yet, but it may not be over for you fans of the show.

Oh 7th Heaven. I used to remember that you used to be a good show. Now, it's more painful watching it than spending an eternity in hell.

That finale was horrible, just horrible. Even compared to the regular horrible episodes of the last FIVE YEARS. I mean, that "We're ALL having twins" thing, and everybody dancing even though the wedding was cancelled, the hell?
And Mary finished unviersity in like a year while raising a baby, getting divorced, and working full-time?
The only good point I think was that there was actually a Fat Lady singing at the end.

Let's not forgot that Mary gave up her parental rights to her child and somehow her family is ok with that.

They must've gagged the fat lady then, because it's back.
Oh, and the president of the CW basically said that Everwood died because they brought back 7th Heaven.

Wait a minute, 7th Heaven is being renewed and they cancelled Everwood for it? What the hell?

Ummm yes basically the last slot to fill came down to 7th Heaven and Everwood. The 7 million SOBS that tuned in for 7th Heaven's finale managed to convince the suits to renew it.
Of course now there's 5 million pissed off Everwood fans.

It's a sad world when you have shows like 7th Heaven that continues to air but other shows like Angel gets the ax.

Wasn't 7th Heaven the one of the original WB shows?
My theory is this - God himself appeared before the execs at WB years ago saying that if they didn't keep 7th Heaven on forever that the network would go down the toilet. I mean, what other reason could there be for having ELEVEN SEASONS of this show?
However, I'd like to think the Lord has better taste than this psuedo-Christian mess.
