Bravo! Bravo! (Exiles #80 Spoilers)

Masterfully played, Mr. B! I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with the previous arc, but the "Future Imperfect" story blew me away. Excellent battles with Proteus and the Maestro, and I loved that twist ending - especially how the narration that had been running throughout the issue just gets cut-off mid-thought. Swift, brutal and chilling. Plus, homage to the infamous "neck-snapping" scene in the original FI! You've really done your homework for the "World Tour", and it shows. ;)

Looking forward to the big finish!

EDIT: Okay, I'm probably going to get a "No comment" for this one, but at WWLA, Nick Lowe told everyone that Blink, Sabretooth and Morph would be in Claremont's "Exiles". So... was that deliberate misleading, or was the story changed at the last minute, or (and this is the one I'm dreading) are we going to see a reversal coming up?

You know that answering that question would risk ruining the story, right? I'd rather maintain the mystery for now, if that's okay. ;)

But I'm very, very glad you enjoyed the issue and picked up on some of the same things that I was excited about. Doing the homework on this whole saga was harder than I expected it would be, but your post alone made it worthwhile.

I have to agree, this was a great, strong issue. Morph's narration was great, and everyone's emotions were spot on. Interesting "what may happen?" ending too.

i posted on the X-board already but i guess i'll post here too

the Future Imperfect chapter of the World Tour has been really great. I loved Morph's role in this story and Exiles is really becomming one of my favourite books again!

Now if only we could see Jolt in the Heroes Reborn universe!

I can dig it though, I'm sure Spiderman 2099 can provide the humor, though no more power rangers i assume....


All that aside, a great story, never read Future Imperfect, but now i want to. Can't wait for the Heros Reborn story next month.

The resent issues of Exiles have not been very inspiring to e, but this issue makes up for that. Looking forward to the world tour finale.
