Here they going to be in Gotham
How does that changes things
Think it will affect Batman Annaul "Gothams goes to heck" storylines
Sense pretty sure JSA kind of HAVE to get involve in something like No man's Land or nightfall

Placing the JSA in Gotham feels like overkill. How many superheroes does ONE city need?

We've got LOTS of mobsters here in Jersey. You've seen the Sopranos.

Compare Gotham City to Marvel New York.
You should find your answer.

Traditionally, weren't the JSA always based out of Gotham?
During the Golden Age, Gotham City was also home to Green Lantern (Alan Scott) as well as Batman and Robin, but there was nary a team-up between them back then.

In a old All-Star JSA book from the 40s it's said they are based in Gotham, but it's only mentioned.

I like the idea of the JSA being in Gotham. What issue is that?

I think it was issue 24 or 25.
But like i wrote, it is only mentioned that they have been based in Gotham.

I think IamtheRock is talking about a rumour that the JSA is moving back to Gotham, where they operated from in the 1940s. However, the move has not happened yet. As of JSA #1, the team has been operating out of Wesley Dodds' home in New York City.
I'd prefer the Batfamily to be operating on their own in Gotham, but I always dug those Batman-Alan Scott and Batman-Wildcat team-ups.

Didn't Starman have various stories set in Gotham?
