I agree with a lot of Augie's points on the book's content, very clean artwork and storytelling. You could loan #1 out to a non-comic reader and he'd be bugging you for when the next issue came out. Its a pretty solid and well designed product from the cover to the last page Iron Man Face Mask last pagesplash.

This issue definitely doesn't bury you with too much insular continuity and dialogue. A wonderful change from Marvel's last "event" and DC's current one.

One last note, Captain America makes DC's trinity look very inferior.

That's why he was the leader in the JLA/Avengers crossover. ;)
