My guess is dream sequence or some kind of animated rock constructs.

That image of Miek looks so friggin' cool!

It's a little early in the story for Hulk to go up against Earth heroes, so I'm assuming they're some type of automata.

EDIT: Although dream sequence is certainly a possibility.

That's some terrific Lopresti art right there. It's weird seeing them interact with other Marvel characters though, even if they are fake rock versions. Makes me wonder if the whole team's coming back with him on earth....hmmmm.

If anything it would be interesting to see a Korg/Thor rematch just for the hell of it.
