Civil War how are the New Avengers effected???

Bendis mentioned at Wordballoon that the current team, as a fact, will NOT be together after CW.

Yip, what I have read is that there will be a book titled Mighty Avengers and the current book. As New Avengers is one of Marvel's hottest properties at the moment, it makes sense from a business standpoint to try and milk out the extra cash from a similar/same title.

Given that "Mighty Avengers" previews in Marvel's Free Comic Book Day giveaway and is listed as a "Marvel Adventures" title, I think it's not a standard 616 continuity title but rather Jeff Parker's new all-ages title (companion to the Marvel Adventures Spider-Man and Fantastic Four titles).

So if there IS another Avengers on-going, that's not it.

10 or so years from now, some of the young Avengers will become Avengers. Then, having proved themselves fighting heralds of Galactus, time traveling despots and foes of Dr. Strange, the Young Avengers will be refitted, making them essentially a pop culture joke and slice of nostalgia. Then most of them will be killed by a thousand-time-loser villain in Civil War IV, and their friends on the Avengers will mourn them.

That's how Civil War will affect the Avengers.

Yeah, just replace Young Avengers with New Warriors :)

Some new talking heads will replace the old talking heads. People will still do nothing. Avengers who are on the covers will still not show up for many months, and then not appear again.

So really, nothing will change. Don't worry, the New Avengers are safe with Bendis! :D
