I always hear how some people want him to be the next Batman but when I hear him talk about having a reguler life why do I have the thought that he would want kids? And if so wouldn't that just mess up the legacy of Batman continuing on?

Now to Oracle...How the hell she git so DAMN good. In the hunt for Oracle to her hanging in No Man Land (Perhaps the greatest story evah!) she is so technically advanced and what not...I didnt even mention JLA cause No Man Land just show how adaptive she is in the cyberworld. But how she git so good. I know bout her photographic memory but damn the ultimate best?! Did she focused all her energies on that when her legs went out?

And how good was Babara "Batgirl"? And how long she practiced in comic world? and then in realty

Lastly how the hell did Huntress last so long. She cool but it dont even seem she belongs. With Batgirl possibly biting the bullet Im mad that she still kicking. What was her first meeting with Batman like?

ONE LAST QUESTION: Is Tim Drake becoming as prepared as D. Grayson? Yea; I know Dick was acrobatic from the start from the feats he do from resisitng getting probe from two of the best in Blockbuster employment to controlling Blackgate to saving "Nitewing"...It just seem so natural. I can understand Batman training but how he trained Nitewing to be so damn well? I doubt Batman taught Nightwing everything he knows but Bruce taught Nightwing a hug sum of his knowledge right? How long did Dick trained as Robin befor ehe hit the streets and how long did he trained till he left? The cape crusaders must have been really good or the villains must have been really inexperienced because the CC was soooo young!

I don't worry about that stuff too much. It takes away from the fun at times if you worry too much about how did they get this way? I just take it for what it is and run with it. Until someone comes up with a reasonable answer then I may read it, otherwise I just believe the writer....

In my opinion, the legacy of Batman will end with Bruce. Bruce Wayne is Batman. He and Dick are two different people. While Dick will try to imitate Bruce as Batman at first, that facade will slip eventually. Not to mention that none of Batman's rogues are going to be fooled. They'll know it isn't THE Batman under that cowl. The Joker will especially know.

Dick can dress up as Batman but he'll never BE Batman.

Very well put. There are certain characteristics that make up Batman that Dick does not have. Batman is rutheless, manipulative and conniving. He will do almost anything-short of killing--to get the job done. I really don't think that Dick has the stomach to do some of the things that Bruce has done. I think he could do it short term. But it would wear him down eventually and he would have to stop. It's far better for Dick to remain Nightwing. The only person in the DCU whom I can think of replacing Bruce as Batman is Carter "Hawkman" Hall.

I see no reason for Dick to be Batman, he is Nightwing, that is what he should continue to be.

I don't think that Nightwing will ever become batman..........he might once and while assume the role, but never take over completely for bruce wayne. The Nightwing character has actually gained popularity and remains a solid performer on the sales chart. Now, it tends to be hard to remain a good seller if you aren't a established character. Even though Dick Grayson was Robin, NW has become his own and does decent sales volume. So, don't expect DC to change him too much.
