Not only can you access the site, something the old server was failing to do, there are several new features like spell check. I loved this site before but no it's better than ever.

I loved this site before but no it's better than ever. And I really appreciate your patience with all the troubles we've experienced the past couple of months on the CBR Forums. With the new server now upgraded to two megs of memory, and the forums upgraded to vB 3.5.4, I think we're entering a new age in the CBR Forums history ... just in time for the 10 year anniversary! (No kidding!)

Spellchecker rocks. I so suck at spelling. What other new cool features are there?

Hey, I'm not smart enough to figure out the spellchecker. Help?
I love that the new edit feature. It no longer takes you to a whole new page if you just need to do a quick edit.
Hey, I'm not smart enough to figure out the spellchecker. Help? The spell-checking thingy looks like it's an add-on program for Internet Explorer that you have to download. That's unfortunately because not everyone has IE.

For those having some problems, the best advice I can give is to clear your browser cache, your cookies and possibly even your history. It seems to have helped everyone who's done it. Although there are a few Mac users that are still having some problems.

Awesome, thanks, Jonah. I did all that you suggested, and I can now use smilies, etc. I am currently downloading the ieSpellchecker. Lookin' good.
Hey, can you talk about any big plans you might have for the 10th year anniversary?

How do I switch off the "guided mode" now? or was it the "enhanced mode"? Anyway, how do I get the opening and the closing tags separately again?

Hey, can you talk about any big plans you might have for the 10th year anniversary?Oh, no big plans. I actually didn't realize it was the 10th anniversary until recently, but there'll be some mention of it. I can say this - the 10th Anniversary Year is going to have a few surprises here or there that should be fun.

I e-mailed the folks at San Diego and asked if it would be possible to do some kind of programming event for the anniversary; a panel or meet & greet or something. No word yet, but well see.
What is the actual anniversary date, by the way?
And don't forget, there will be a birthday cake at the CBR Weenie Roast on Thursday evening.

I know! For the tenth anniversary, why not have a mega crossover with X-Fan or something, where big stuff happens and compleatly changes the status-quo for a whole two weeks!

Very good work and I'm liking it!
The hyperlink option doesn't provide an opportunity to title the link. Maybe that's another bug to work out.
Other'n that...nice and thanks!

Conveniently, May 5 is also No Pants Day (http://www.nopantsday.com/). I think I'll celebrate both events simultaneously.

Yes, thanks.
Did you say upgraded to 2 MB? Did you mean 2 GB?
As an IT geek, I'm curious what the server is - what brand, the type and number of the CPUs, the amount of memory, the number and type of drives etc. Would you mind sharing?

Here is SK's avatar page of Gail Simone penned characters. I know you know about this but other people don't and may wish to use a custom avatar as those are still working.

I think the "Help Rev and Larime!" thread is broken. I've posted, and it keeps saying others have posted, but the posts aren't showing. Just FYI for the powers that be, in case they are listening.
