Wow, that was short. I don't like this new format all that much, bring back 'Monday with Marts'.

Me too. But I think it was difficult for them (them being whoever) to get the interviews every Monday or even by a specific scheduled date (I remember a lot of MwM taking place on Wednesdays and such).
So I guess its not bad but hopefully further editions will be more informative. :)

Your right the format was short this week. I asked more questions, but I think Marts had a hard week and more things on his plate than just the article.
Faded is correct. Mondays are always the hardest days at the office to get anything done. I know where I work I dread Mondays. The article should be up every Wednesday from now on, but it does depend on Marts' schedule and if he has time to talk to me when my schedule will allow it.
I invite anyone that has an idea they want to throw my way, to do so. Be it a question or suggestion feel free to email me or come to the site and drop me a line, though I do frequent this board often and I'm sure the admins here would rather you stay here and ask me from here (LOL).

Just keep asking Marts regularly about reverting Beast to his iconic George Perez Blue-Furred Apeman visage, and you'll have a loyal reader for life. ;)

Hey, I'm just curious as to when the members of the GLX are going to be added to the Cerebro files.

Aah cool. Much props to you and the site, Trevor.

The Cerebro files are all Monoliths doings, it is his baby so I'll leave it up to him to decide when to add them.
Beast @ As for the Beast question, I've already asked that question three or four times. I'll tell you this though, now Mike has never said this out loud, but the vibe I get everytime I ask it is "not as long as Joss Whedon is around". That Joss he gets all the props (LOL).
Mike likes Frank Tieri pretty well and I know Frank is an avid Ape-Beast supporter so maybe we should all lean on Frank some more to get him to come up with a good enough storyline for Beast after Joss is gone.
Faded @ Thanks

I would love if we could get some Phoenix or Cyclops questions, I always love finding out about them.

I wonder if Mr. Marts reads by whining posts :p

Heh. I knew it was Joss that was keeping Beast tied to that horrid body. Especially after even Bendis wanted to fix things via-HoM. Ah well, Joss will be gone soon enough, and may even fix Hank himself, who knows. Just getting tired of seeing the feline look, because honestly.... almost noone draws it looking halfway decent. The art especially for Civil War makes my eyes bleed. ;)

Oliver Copiel HAS drawn X-Men. He did the Murderworld fill-in arc on Uncanny during Reload. Infact that was his project before HoM, which can also be considered an X-Men project.

Well, to be play devil's advocate on behalf of Mr. Marts...
They did say 'Major Work'. And a few issues isn't a major run on any title.

I would love UncannyXMen.net forever and always (even more than I currently do) if they asked Marts why they chose the NEX looks for Dazzler and Nocturne. :D
I, too, missed the old format this time, but it's still nice to have the interviews with the editors. UXM.net rules.

I'm not that fond of the new format, but there was some very interesting stuff in that interview.
Uncannyxmen.net is my fave fan site :D

Jim Lee did not become a regular penciler until Uncanny X-Men #267, yet he guest pencils on Uncanny X-Men #248 (Storm's "death") & Uncanny X-Men #256-258 (Psylocke's transformation into a ninja assassin for the Hand); therefore, any book work is a major work. Mike Marts, as managing editor, should know Coipel's X-work history.

Okay thought of some questions!! :)
With Scanner confirmed depowered in New Avengers, and Exodus, Amelia Voght, and Frenzy confirmed powered in the 198 Handbook, can we expect to see any update on Unuscione and Neophyte of the Acolytes anytime soon?
I remember hearing ressurections would come courtesy of House of M. Aside from Hawkeye and Vulcan, will there be any others (more specifically for the Mutant Universe?).

He should know his work simply by virtue of being the editor who GAVE HIM THE ARC.
