Hey, I just noticed that the HC collecting Whedon's first run was out. Does anybody have this? Are there any special extras that's worth the purchase?

I picked it up. Cassaday's art looks really cool in a larger format.

The extras are an introduction by Brian K Vaughan, all the covers (variant and regular), A bunch of sketches by Cassaday, email correspondance between Whedon and Mike Marts from back when Whedon was begining to put togther what his first 12 issues would be like, and an interview with Cassaday.

The interview with Cassaday is from the Marvel Spotlight magazine. Shame they didn't include the interview with Whedon from the same magazine. :p

Cool, thanks!

I was hoping for some deleted scenes, but that's okay.

With today's flair for decompressed storytelling, the deleted scenes are left in the story. ;)

Heh.

You never know, Whedon could have cut a scene from "Gifted."

I do not care about any deleted scenes from "Dangerous." ;)

No, but it's worth the $20.00 or so you pay online for it. :)

I've been waiting for this one for a while now so I'll have to pick it up along with Spider-Man The Other. Both have excellent packaging.
