is she currently on xaviers?
and by the way, X-men offered still powered mutants shelter in the
mansion and x-factor offered non-powered mutants shelter in mutant town right?
anyway, is there any known plans for her?

Yes, Amelia Voght retained her powers. She was listed in the 198 Handbook, but it says her wereabouts are unknown. As far as I know, she hasn't made any recent appearances.
Yes, that seems to be the case.
Everyone who got a save in the 198 Handbook, were characters they had plans or wanted for upcoming plots. So I'm sure they'll use her in some capacity eventually. How and when, is anyone's guess.

I still say Voght, Cargill, and Exodus are off scheming with their depowered master Magneto.

All the other Acolytes seem to be de-powered or killed in the Sentinel attack by Cassandra Nova on Genosha.
A waste to put characters like Scanner, The Kleinstock brothers, Uniscione, Neopythe and Senyaka, who all had well developed characters compared to many other villains into limbo.

Why would they...?
By all logic Magneto is 'one of them' now.
Hes human which by their philosophy make shim inferior.

But he's still Magneto, and the three of them were his most trusted Acolytes (well, I wouldn't really call Voght trustworthy...), I doubt they'd turn on him lickity split even if he no longer had the mutant gene.

i'd like to see her in the role of the want to do good but is not so sure of herself... i really like the x-men issues after avalon went down and she hang in the x-mansion.
i bet she wont get any real good stories anyway.
and it really is ashame unsione scanner and neyophate get a permanent
residence in limbo.
and with bling and lila aside(i actullay like her) the list i saw was quite
what is the word... WTF?!

Even if he is Magneto, hes not a mutant anymore...hes a human...syaing kill all the humans while youve got a human as your leader is dumb even for the Acolytes...i dotn think Magneto would even be cool with his humaness shouldnt he be like on the urge of suicide?
its like a white racist wakign up as a black person. or a straight homophobe waking up gay.

There are a lot of racist black people, racism isn't something that's just white based. And there's a large number of homophobic gay people, the ones who stay in the closet and can't accept that they have an attraction for the same sex, and hate other gays and secretly themselves. :)

I just don't think they would turn on him that easily. I mean, I could see lesser Acolytes like Rem-Ram or Gargouille turning on him, simply because they don't have the relationship that Exodus, Cargill, or Voght has had with Magneto. I would think they'd have a little change of heart and wouldn't be nearly as gung-ho of purging the world of humans, though still retaining that little bit of hatred in them.

i think to the contrary acolytes like rem-ram werent as commited ot the cause...but the acolytes who have been around the longest had an almost fnatical devotion to Magneto...not Eric Lensheer.
They came to Mags because they felt humans were scum...they would not abide another human no matter who he used to be...theyd simply look for a new messiah.
Thanks for the heads up Beast ur right..ill jsut amend that.

Holy Crap... I didn't realize till now that I may have lost Unuscione and Scanner forever... So not fair :evilangry And Damn am I slow about the whole Decimation thing (even though I've gotten almost every issue related to it) Still wrapping my mind around it all, like 5 months later :D

I pay no attention to canon in terms of the Acolytes. The Kleinstocks are in my mind having hot twincest as we speak. So, as long as you keep Unuscione and Scanner in alive in your heart!

But I want them in more than my heart!! :p I want them in well written stories drawn by good artists and not ruined by story arcs like the Magento War with Joseph!!!

Hey Nyssane....did you know it is official that Phantazia was decimated? It was confirmed in the latest issue of New Avengers.
Hmmm...now to be on topic...I love Amelia, and I am glad she is one of the surviving mutants.

Or EIC.
In that situation, I'd have Voght and Cargill show up in the aftermath of "Civil War" as agents of some group seeking to locate mutants on the run and provide them with protection from the forces which stand ready to stamp them out. They'd be somewhat toned down from their initial Acolytes "Kill all flatscans" stance, but this doesn't perclude the use of lethal force when confronted with anti-mutant agencies and armed mobs like the one which besieged the X-Mansion in one of the "Decimation" issues. They'd be operating largely in secret, knowing that people would be looking for them, and avoiding any contact with the registered superheroes where possible. Their new group's goal is to help the mutant population recover from the Decimation event and protect them from enemies like Reverend Stryker who'd take the first opportunity to kill them off.
The story in which they appear would open a subplot which starts unraveling the whole myth of the "198" by suggesting that there may still be a few hundred or so mutants out there not yet identified as of the Decimation event, and that the number officially given as remaining active is really only based on existing records. In the course of this story, a few of the de-powered mutants also regain their powers as the hex that Scarlet Witch threw to cause Decimation begins to wear off. Not all will be restored, but I'd make a certain former student of Acadmy X regain her powers and join Voght's group with the intentions to aid them in resisting the forces arrayed against mutants. This would eventually bring her and her new allies into conflict with the X-Men and bring the whole question over whether mutants are part of the human race or not to a head.
The way I'd have resolved it is to make it clear that mutants are humans with an active X-factor gene which would be activated by the onset of puberty. That the human race is unwittingly leading itself to extinction under the influence of a number of bigoted groups and individuals is also revealed.
Anyway, that's my little fantasy. I doubt that Joey Q would want to have something like that wreck his little 198 party.

Yes, I shed many-a-tear over Phantazia's loss. :( BUT, like Haunt said, Quicksilver will hook her up with some eezy sheezy, dontcha know? And actually, Lia/Sabre had a theory about Phantazia being Magneto's daughter a LOOONG time ago, it rocked. Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like if Phantazia DID join the Acolytes.

I was shocked that out of all the Acolytes, Scanner was the one and only one mentioned as depowered. She's a fan-favorite, it doesn't make sense for them to pick her over say, Spoor or Gargouille (yeah, I really hate her).

They probably only talked about the Acolytes that survived the attack on Genosha by Cassandra Nova. (Cargill, Amelia and Scanner). Exodus was not there so perhaps all the others died because of it.
But Scanner is a big fan-favorite and alive, but depowered. If you look at all the threads where fans are reacting very upset about her (and Phantazia)being de-powered. The X-writers should react on that, I hope.
Is anyone able to ask that question to any of the writers??????????
The should bring her back, I totally agree on that!!!

LOL you really do hate her. I know I shouldn't be the one to talk seeing as how I love a lot of the random students from Morrison and the DeFilippis/Weir runs on New X-Men, but I dont' really know any fans of a lot of the various random Acolytes like Spoor, Gargouille, and Barnacle and wish that they did away with the majority of them.
Scanner is a shame though. :( At least Neophyte, Unuscione, and the Kleinstocks are still unconfirmed, right?

Who the frig is scanner? One of the Acolytes who appeared in Uncanny X-Men during the mid-1990s "Fatal Attractions" crossover arcs. She had some sort of astral projection power, give or take a few others which were written in at other times. Her early appearances in the crossover had ber being Fabian Cortez's bitch.
