OK, i few weeks ago i started a thread re DC's launch of IC and the armeggedon mini almost at the same time, what i thought at the time was that the two events would be linked somehow, my hunch was that, at the time the scuttlebut was leaning towards DC reconstituting the multi earth concept and that somehow they would tie in using the bleed.
now im pretty sure (95%) that the cap atom mini was just some kinda enormous red herring, but im still clining to that 5% notion that there will be some ramifications to DCU proper stemming from cap's mini.
im actually dissapointed in the direction of IC to a small extent and i believe that they missed an opprtunity to wrap together all the multi universe concepts (ie. orig DCU multiverse, Hypertime, the Bleed).
i wasnt hoping for the proverbial floodgates mind you (such as the idea of absorbing the wildstorm universe into the DCU) but i did think that the bleed would be acknowledged as part of the DCU (mabey stating that hypertime and the bleed were one in the same perhaps)
to me there seemed to be more compelling storylines for IC and the DCU if this direction was taken instead of "retcon punches" and SBP "Titi attacks"
anyway, does anyone else think there might be some connection still left unsaid?? and does anyone think good ol cap will come back to the DCU ore is he gonna stay in Wildstorm.
