I'm doing a project for my Statistics class where I'm taking a survey of comic book fans. I need as many people as possible to answer the following questions below. You can PM me if you dont want to post the info on the thread. No names (real or screen) will be recorded and the info collected will only be used for the purposes of a class project and then discarded (I know you have to take my word on that but its true). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do this survey or else I need to find a new semester project. I'm trying to track the buying and collecting habits of comic book fans as they relate to age and gender.

3) How many new comics do you buy per month? I don't know how many personally, but as a family, our pull list is 26, but that's myself, my wife and two kids. We share some comics so it's hard to figure out exactly who "owns" what.

5) How many comics do you own total? Without looking at the database to be sure, I'd estimate somewhere in the 25k range.
6) How many local comic conventions do you attend per year? Define local and non-local. I attend one convention per year period, but it's about 100 miles from my house. I'd call that local because I can drive to it.
7) How many non-local comic conventions do you travel to per year? See above.
8) Do you regularly associate with people whom you only know through comic books? No, I can't think of anyone that I associate with that only shares a single interest.
EDIT: Question 9) How long have you been collecting comic books? Started in 1974, so that makes it 32 years now.
