There's a Spawn comic that I have back home that I really want to read again. The only problem is that "home" is extremely far away and I have very little chance of getting it anytime soon.
The only things that I can remember about the comic are the following.
1. A quote that goes something like this:
"The world is a haven for hypocrites cowards and liars all clinging pathetically to old fashioned notions of good and evil. There is no right. There is no wrong. Civilization died a long time ago and we're just maggots crawling on the festering corpse."
It is much more extensive than this. The line is said by this lanky dark haired goth kinda fellow who looks a like Trent Reznor did back in the day and he is trying to trade places with Spawn.
2. The events that occur in the comic happen prior to Spawn's battle with the dark god Urizen. I figured that might be a good landmark for people maybe.
3. It might be issue 80 something or 90 something. But I could be extremely wrong about this.
4. I think the comic was purchased sometime in the year 2000. maybe 2001.
Sorry I don't have more info but that's the way it is.
I really hope someone can help me locate this. I'd truly appreciate it.
