I heard they are doing a new all ages Punisher book in which he will interact more with the super heroes and villains of the MU.

If this is so, I like the idea, but I'm really hoping that this doesn't mean it will be replacing the MAX series that I've loved so much. I haven't heard anything about Ennis' next story after "Barracuda", so I was just wondering if anybody knew if there was another arc after this, or if Ennis' book is being replaced. Somebody help me out with some info yo.

It's not replacing the MAX book and also, it's not exactly All Ages. It'll be for a younger audience but probably Teens and above like the majority of the Marvel Universe books.

I don't remember JQ or Fraction saying it was for a younger audience.

I for one am really excited because I want to see Punisher interacting with everyone else and fighting some badass super-villains.

Like Crimson said, War Journal won't replace the MAX series and it's not an all ages book.

MAX is only supposed to be sold to adults, War Journal is going to be for teenages and above

I think it was in the last Joe Fridays when Joe said it. He was been questioned about if readers will feel they're missing a large part of the Punisher because their not old enough to get the MAX title.

No, In the last Joe Fridays Joe was asked if Punisher MAX series was out of continuity.

It was Joe Fridays 43, and a little bit of 45

Superheroes, superheroes, superheroes... I love them, but I'm sick of 'em all the time. Comics are such a fantastic media, and it only got superheroes. When brilliant writers like Ennis write a realistic, amazing story such as the ones in Punisher Max... someone comes up with Punisher-and-superheroes-AGAIN. Geez, leave The Punisher for Garth Ennis, no one else knows how to write Frank Castle.

I read the new series will be placing Frank back in the world of the super heroes yet again. I hope this does not lead to the previous incarnations of Punisher which overexposed his niche.

I only want the Punisher to produce excellent storylines, I have not been disappointed generally since Garth took over the character.

I would like to see some of Daniel Way's work on it, I read where he had an story concept he wanted to send through...

I lost faith in Way after the lack of direction that was Origins and Endings.

This new Punisher book is going to rock.
