View Full Version : Would it bother you if Jack of Hearts returned?

i'm just thinking it would be really easy to bring him back (in an energy form) and he is a cosmic character. so, what do you think?

p.s. was it ever cleared up whether the Jack who appeared in Disassembled was the real deal or just another of Wanda's creations? he certainly didn't look like the Jack who "died" in space. for one, he was wearing a costume that had already disintegrated.

I think it would be a great opportunity seeing how he was floating in space after his last heroic attempt. I have a feeling that he won't be in Annihilation though but he would be a perfect character to run into if Annihilation is a big seller and the cosmic titles get their own ongoings.

I've been saying the same thing. It seems more to me that the Jack of Hearts Wanda conjured up was a construct since he still had the half covered Zero Fluid look whereas he is now fully covered and is floating in space.

Good ideas. Jack works best as a cosmic character, he probably won't show up here, but it would be a fitting backdrop.

i figure he's going to come back as the pawn of some space villain; like usual. he really is a great character to have fight other heroes.

i could see jack turning up a possibility
as marvel said the body found at the dissasembled site was ant mans and didnt find jacks
that and it kinda hints at it in the handbooks saying it was unknown wither or not he survived in an energy form or in fact come out in his true form

I would not be bothered.

In fact, I would say "w00t!"

I've always loved Jack of Hearts so I'd have no problem at all with him coming back :D

it wouldn't bother me a bit. i love the character and the costume ('nother thread). i mean, jack of hearts was experimented on by his own father and his mom was an alien...it's like frankenstein and the x-files.

I'd dig it if he did come back, though I prefer the 'dead is dead' take... one could argue that he's not truly dead. Two of my favorite old comics are where Jack takes on Hulk and another where he thinks Iron Man is attacking Stark International (really Midas just took over and initiated the attack on Shellhead) and goes after the golden avenger. Later, in both cases he starts to doubt himself after the fights... that could be played up in a big way if he was 'the pawn' of someone else in this event.

Wouldn't bother me. Wouldn't thrill me either. I've never been a fan of the character.

I'd be extremely pissed. Pissed enough to drop ALL Marvel books.

It would be insulting in a highly personal way.

I mean, all that money I spent on the party when he died would have been completely wasted.

i think they need to kepp somebody dead for once. and keeping the guys who died in the whole wanda thing is a goood start

what you said makes little to no sense. Hawkeye's already back. Vision's already back. Wanda killed one guy and he's still dead. has nothing to do with Jack; a guy who has shrugged off blows from the Hulk btw. so how would bringing Jack back make the dead = dead situation any worse than it already is?

Vision's already back.

then again Vision's been taken apart and put back together so many times that it's almost expected by now
