Writers-Jimmy Palmiotti
Artist-Billy Tucci
The site mentions the duo debuting a book out of Civil War in August. We already know the team for Punisher and Ant-Man,so H4H is definitely there book.
I'm really hyped for this now.Tucci was probably one of the better 90s artists.Adding to pull list now!

Good news if that Continuum article is right, and it's Gray and Palmiotti on H4H - their Hawkman was great (until it was derailed by Rann/Thanagar, anyway).
Tucci is an interesting choice too...now if we can only find out the characters involved (although it seems that the Daughters of the Dragon are shoe-ins - yay!)

I was hoping for him as well after seeing his work in DofD,but then again,he is fresh into the business so an ongoing might have been too much too soon.
But we are getting Billy Tucci, one of the best and most underrated pencilers of the 90s.

Evans is definitely new in the industry, i think an ongoing would be a great way for him to shine!
what's Billy Tucci been doing since the 90s anyway? the last involvement of his i remember is... Battlebooks?

I could not tell you,but probably the most recognizable of his stuff is his own creation,Shi.She was like a ninja-like character with a white face.

Yeah, but a new ongoing with a basically new penciller can be something of a death knell economically these days. Let's put it this way, DotD wasn't exactly burning up the sales charts.
Better to stick Evans on an established book, build up his status a little bit, then you can have him "return" to H4H.

Thank God Evans isn't doing this book

Where was Tucci mentioned to be on the project? I didn't see his name in the article.

This book won't last past issue 6.

Why don't you give the book a chance before making saying something like that. Books like She-Hulk and Runaways ain't blazing the charts and they have a long life ahead of them.

Because BladeX said so.
Seriously, it'll last at least till 12. I can almost guarantee it. Why? So they can judge how the trade does.

you're not supposed to question this. for every new series, there is at least one poster waiting out there to predict it's doom. it's a rare psychological phenomena that can easily be confirmed by doing a board search.

The fortuens of the book might change if you find otu who else is on the team...if its liek Caps new book for example (which lets face it is a remote possibility) it could sell really well. With characters so up in the air ill reserve judgement till i know mroe than 4 members.

Yep, Tucci's stuff sort of reminds me of Turner. Of course I haven't read Shi since the early 90's.

This looks like a pretty good mix of street levelers, guns for hire, and characters coming out of the Daughters of the Dragon book. It looks pretty female dominated though even without the characters on the team that aren't pictured.
I just hope the art is up to snuff because I disliked that piece on Newsarama.

Nice team. Shang Chi is back! Black Cat, Paladin, Misty Knight, and Colleen Wing all deserve some time to shine/get away from bad mini-series by Kevin Smith.
Err who's Humbug?

The line-up is pretty unexpected - sounds good to me. I've always liked Paladin, and he and the Black Cat should make for an interesting duo...

Why would they need him, when they supposedly have Ronin? It would've made more sense if IF was Ronin, all along.

I believe a "ronin" is a masterless samurai.... so it would make more sense for Wolverine to have been Ronin.

I wonder who thought it would be a good idea to send this team after Captain America. These guys are going to get destroyed, maybe issue #2 will have an "all-new, all different H4H team."

Iron Fist isn't a practicioner of kung fu. he learned martial arts from the Kunlunians.

Holy crap. Comics were really 60 cents once upon a time? I can barely remember that.
(Actually, I do remember that, I just didn't want to show my age. Dang keyboards don't even have cent symbols on them anymore...)

OMG! I just realized that! Now it'll bug me what took its spot.
How exactly is this H4H without Power Man and Iron Fist? Misty Knight and Colleen Wing make sense as supporting characters, as do Paladin and Silver Sable.

Looks like the carat took its place (^); it used to be over the 6, along with the dash (upper or lower, I'm not sure).
There's a long "history" of the change on this webpage- The Demise of the $.01 Sign (http://www.charlieanderson.com/centsign.htm). Interesting stuff; I hadn't know about it until a couple of posts ago. :)

Yeah it would be cool if there was like 12 issues of looking for Cap before the dude just demolishes them in like three panels
HILL-arious.
Brandon McKinnis

or off panel...then everyone could complain about Cap off-paneling this team of everyone's FAVORITE characters, then bad mouth Bendis...because while he isn't writing this, he is using Cage.
