What new superhero should marvel come out with? I've always wanted to see a rat as a villain. How about you? did or do you have an idea for a new superhero? :

Marvel already has so many compelling heroes that are underused as it is, I'd rather see one of them get a shot at a monthly ongoing.

Vermin is a great rat villian.
But I'm with Harlock, I'd rather see Marvel flesh out an older under used character than create one just to fill out a plot.

A (sensible) Sentry to retcon the current one.

Wasn't there a rat with a smiley face on his tummy? Hung out in the same pages as Sugarman and X-Man for a while?
I always thought an Alchmemist superhero would be cool. But I guess Full Metal Alchemist kind of beat me to the idea.

If I had a great idea for a superhero, I sure as hell wouldn't be giving it away in a public forum. :D

I agree that they have plenty of heroes as it is, and I'm really enjoying seeing some of the forgotten characters getting a chance to return to the spotlight---especially Moon Knight.

i think they need a hero version of Mysterio.

he was a mutant parasite and his default form wasn't that of a rat; it's just something he ate/took on its form. he really looks like a giant pile of mold with very big teeth.

Other stuff about Dirtnap. He was a member of the Dark Riders, a group that hung out with Apocalypse. he and serveral Dark Riders joined with Tyler, Cable's son, in an attempt to brainwash Wolverine. The attempt failed, and all present were killed by Wolverine.
As for my hero, I'd steal a page from DC and bring out RETCON PUNCH MAN. He would then go around using his abilities to wipe out stupid storylines of the past few years like the Emma Frost/Scott Summers Affair, Jean Grey dying again, the New Warriors having their own reality show, anything having to do with Avengers: Dissassembled, the Stacy Twins, Winter Soldier, Sandman being evil again, the Clone Saga, Young Avengers,, Next Wave, Namor's rage being caused by being in/out of water too long, and Sentry. This would lead to a big Marvel crossover called "What the &%$#@ is Going On?" in which eventually Retcon Punch Man has wiped out so many bad ideas the Marvel Universe is restarted.

i'd sort of like my character, Wet Willy, to be introduced in Amazing Fantasy. he's basically this never before seen kid who was caught in the same accident that Hydro-Man was.

i probably shouldn't say anything but, at this point, i would retcon punch Young Avengers and think nothing of it. i lost a lot of love for the series after that last long delay. and i really hate the idea of another Kree/Skrull War because it really has nothing to do with the original premise of the series (& it's a war between armies of cannon fodder wearing the same uniform & looking pretty much exactly the same); getting to know the individuals in the failsafe program. i know so little about them at this point and the title has become focused entirely on Wiccan and Hulkling. they are the two that i'm least interested in, unfortunately. my interest might be renewed by the Young Avengers facing more down-to-earth threats, like a new Masters of Evil of D-Generation.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're talking to me.
To answer your question.
NO!
The only thing I like about Young Avengers is the fact that Cassie Lang is in it so at least her father's legacy is continuing. other than that Marvel in the past few years has FAILED to impress me. About the only thing that has managed to ven hold my interest in a good way is Dan Slott's She-Hulk.
