Welcome to the 15th installment of the 2006 HR/HM Update thread.

I thought we'd start this week's issue off with a classified ad. The website I work for is looking for a new freelancer to cover the death metal/hardcore/metalcore/black metal CD reviews. Do you have writing and critical skills? Are you interested in getting your work out there for people to see? Free CDs? Well you may have a shot at being the newest freelancer for Rock Is Life.com. You can get the details on what you need to do to be considered via this link! (http://www.rock-is-life.com/freelancewanted.htm)

COMINGS & GOINGS

Tony Harnell is leaving TNT after 22 years. A preliminary statement can be read here. (http://www.roadrun.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=50716) A more detailed statement is expected next week. I find it weird to think of someone else fronting TNT. While I was never a huge fan of the band, Harnell is really the signature thing you identify them with.

Hirax has announced guitarist Glenn Rogers has rejoined the band. Story Link (http://www.roadrun.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=50549)

Hallows Eve has signed a new record deal with Xtreem Music.

New Judas Priest! New Dragonforce! Helloween reissues! Bruce Dickinson DVD! WHOO! Haggar's stuff is alright, but it honestly sounds a bit too country.

I can't wait for the Bruce DVD. That sounds incredibly cool. I just hope in his intros for the videos he explains just what the hell it is we're supposed to get out of the "Tattooed Millionaire" video. I remember back when it was new he was saying there was a greater meaning to the video than just the song.

I guess the first Helloween reissues sold well enough to warrant more. Now if only I could find the first damn ones....

So did anyone respond to this? The site owner forwarded me an email submission he got from somebody here (since this is the only place I posted it). Someone from this site sent some sort of fake BS review as their tryout submission.

Look, if you aren't serious, don't send anything, just skip over the first part of the post and read the information. Don't waste our time, and use my name as a means of entry, if you aren't serious.

That's fine, but I certainly don't appreciate whoever it was that sent some BS review to the site and used my name as a reference. It makes me look bad, and I'm not too fond of being used like that.
