I had heard somewhere that Marc Silvestri is moving the Top Cow imprint to Marvel where it will continue as a creator owned entity. This is also ment to allow Top Cows talent pool to work on select Marvel projects.
Anybody know if there's any thruth to this rumor??????

I don't think so....yes, he signed a packaging deal with Marvel, but him moving there? He's pretty happy with Image, AFAIK.

The full details of the packaging deal are here. (http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61152&highlight=top+cow+marvel)
It's a limited joint publishing deal, spanning 36 Marvel comics and 8 Top Cow crossover comics.
It was rumoured that this might lead to Marvel buying Top Cow, but that has been firmly slapped down.
It's only a packaging deal that allows Marvel to use Top Cow's exclusive artists.
Top Cow has no intention of leaving Image for Marvel.

Glad the rumour was defused quickly. I'm looking forward very much to seeing what Top Cow produces in the next couple of years with Renae Geerlings in the top seat. It's going to be an interesting time!

I love the fact that Top Cow is a seperate entity outside of Marvel and DC. It just adds to the fact that it is still an independant company and it's always great to root for the little guys.
