A few months back I got a mini series in the cheap bins called Vigilante: City Lights, Prarie justice. It was a four issue mini written by James Robinson and art by Tony Salmons. At the time I didnt know who either of them were, but recently I've learned about very high-profile things that Robinson has done like Starman and The Golden Age. I thought it was pretty good, but it obviously wasnt very successful because it wasnt even colected in trade. So I was wondering if anyone else has read this, and what did you think about it?

Brilliant series. You can't go wrong with James Robinson, and this is one of his better series. Plus, I'm a sucker for the time period.

I'm not surprised that so few people have read it, though. The market is not kind to non-conventional superhero books. And Tony Salmons' art is very much an acquired taste.

This was a fun mini. I was turned on to Tony Salmons' art thanks to the old Marvel GI Joe comic, and James Robinson's story fit his style perfectly.
