With "Fables" #50 due in just a couple of months, as well as a spin-off series and an original graphic novel on the way, the little universe Bill Willingham created is expanding quite a bit. CBR News sat down with Willingham for a long chat about where the series and it's related books are headed.

Great stuff all around. I absolutely love Fables and am looking forward to the spin off series too. I'll probably only buy the GN when its released in soft cover though.

Fables is my favorite monthly. I can't wait for the HC 1,001 Nights of Snowfall.

I'm not sure about the Jack spin off but I will definitely buy the first few issues to see if I like it.

each month i pile my comics in a specific order, so that i can read the best titles at the end and finish with a "good taste in my mouth".

guess which comic is at eh bottom .... yep that's right .... FABLES.

i 'll buy all the spin-offs, one-shots, minis , whatever as long as the creative team of those includes willingham .

READ FABLES !!!!!

I normally only get the HC for special books, but I'll make an exception for Fables.

Hell, who am I kidding, with that line up of talent, and the fact it's Fables, it'll be a special book.
I can't wait.

Excellent excellent news!

You know, Fables has one thing in particular that many, MANY other books do not: consistency. Sure, some stories/issues are better than others, but this is one hell of a comic. Can't wait for the OGN, I'll give Jack a thorough try and hope to someday be reading Fables #500.

Easily my favorite book of all. (and also saved for last to read!)

Looking forward to this. I hope Willingham uses "Jack of Fables" to introduce us to rogue fables and other fable communities outside of Fabletown.
