need help writing my main character as anti-hero

hey everyone,
it's Joe again.i need some help.see i'm writing a superhero series.and i wanted to do a dark and mysterious character like batman but i wanted to make him more anti-hero.but i'm don't much about the differents types of ant-heroes.can anyone help me? i just finish drawing my main hero.and i like him.he looks alittle like spawn.but he's cool.thank you all for your time.

I can make some suggestions, but they're going to take you a while. They take some actual reading.

You want anti-heroes? Pick up some of the better crime fiction. Something by James Ellroy, for instance. Or if you want to go more current and superheroey, grab Charlie "Moon Knight" Huston's vampire book "Already Dead." But don't just read some 90s comic books where everyone had stubble.

You should take a look at Samurai Deeper Kyo, in addition to everything else mentioned.

thanks Chocolove i'll check out samurai deep er kyo.i'll rented the first vol on dvd at blockbuster.and maybe pick up vol.1 of the manga next time i go to a bookstore. i kind of wanted to make him like spider-man misunderstood by people.and with the darkness and mysterious of batman,spawn and of course my favorite Shotaro Ishinomori superhero,skullman.(which was the first anti-hero in manga) i was also kind of thinking of mixing him with a little bit of wolf's rain and marvel comic's hulk too, and teaming him up with another superhero like how batman and superman team up and become the world's finest.thanks again everyone.
