Ha, we see Swamp Things HAND lol.. Something else i just noticed about IC 6 with everyone trying to summon the Spectre, turn the page and as you can see Satanus is standing right behind Star Sapphire. In the Superman comic book Action comics 832 Satanus is taken away by the Spectre before IC 6 even happens. Anyone know what happened to Satanus when he was taken by the Spectre??? Or is this a mistake by DC, because Satanus said The Spectre was coming to destroy him?

No....

I just assumed that Spectre killed his ass.

Could that maybe have been Blaze in IC#6 and not Satanus? Both of them look pretty similar, IIRC...

heh. I just posted abouty Swampy's hand in the IC #6 thread. :)
After seeing that, I kept looking for a Constantine reference, to no avail.

Constantine should've been there as a homage to the original Crisis.

It's not like showing a picture of Constantine in the background would destroy the innocence of the DCU, especially in a book that featured a guy's face exploding in a bloody pulp and his eyes shooting out.

I always figured it was less about JC destroying the DCU's innocence than about the DCU undermining the tone for JC's stories. Even before the Vertigo move, Constantine rarely had any contact with the spandex set.

He was a part of Crisis though, he was on the satellite.

Absolutely, that's why I was looking for him in that scene. Heck, everyone in the DCU was in COIE I think, Ambush Bug even makes it onto a poster in the background.

I personally have always felt that removing characters like JC and Swampy from the DCU, while good perhaps for their development, had made the DCU a poorer place. I enjoyed seeing Swamp Thing fight Batman, or Morpheus interacting with Martian Manhunter.

Where was Tim Hunter (I think that's his name), the guy who will supposedly become the most powerful magic-user in DC? I know he's a Vertigo character, but he's known in the magic community, and Swamp was there, so the sub-heading is apparently not a constraint.

Who was the big furry red guy?

Who was the big furry red guy?The big furry red guy and the kid he was hanging out with are the grown-up versions of Stanley and his Monster.

...I hate Kevin Smith.

I thought the Stanley and his Monster that showed up in Smith's GREEN ARROW arc were VASTLY different characters....?

This just seems like "Stanley and his Monster grown up"

I think thats what about maybe 100 people have wanted to see for years now. I am one of those hundred. Tim popping up in any DCU book would make my day.

I agree. DC should've had JC in Infinite Crisis - JC was always the rogue who knew what was up before the @#*! hit the fan. The interacting of Vertigo characters w/ DC proper is always interesting and made the DC universe more rich because of it.

are Jonah Hex, Unknown Soldier, the Demon, Haunted Tank and other fringe characters in Infinite Crisis?

Vertigo Embargo was always iffy

because sometime the admit each other existence sometimes they don't.

Stanley's monster is pink, not red. I think K'Nort was reffering to the furry red guy standing next to Mr. Twister. (BTW, I think that was Tasmainian Devil)

Which actually brings up my next point. Can anyone identify evryone that was present at Stonehenge? These are the people I could ID or at least think I saw

Klarion (& Teekl)
Phantom Stranger
Madama Xanadu
Xanadu's new assistant (her name escpaes me at the moment)
Zatana
Stanley
Stanley's monster
Tasmanian Devil
Valda
Black Alice
Jakeem Thunder
Enchantress
Faust
Star Sapphire
Lord Satanus
El Muerto
Salamanca
Zauriel
Deadman
Baron Winters
Wild Huntsman
Mr. Twister
Jennifer Morgan
Detective Chimp
Sala
Black Orchid
Maya
Odd Man

anyone else that I'm missing or got wrong?

I appreciated the Swamp Thing cameo. Count me among those who think similar cameos from John Constantine and Tim Hunter would have been entirely appropriate, and enriched a scene which (as it was) seemed to have no consequences for the main story.

I'm looking right now and I can't find any trace of Bloodwynd. However I did spot Empress.

BTW...

Valda?

As in the one who used to run around with Arak? Did I miss a story somewhere over the years, or isn't she about 12 centuries out of place?

I sure looks like her. She's in the 4th panel on the page, grabbing Night Master's hand.

J'Onn impersonated him, but Bloodwynd is also a separate character.

Whats the his story anyway? I knew Bloodwynd and J'Onn turned out to be two seperate people but I don't know the deal behind Bloodwynd's origins and how/why J'Onn impersonated him.
