LTB Vol. 2 Issue # 1 came out today.

I picked up the Wieringo cover. :D

I'll pick up the Lawrence cover if it's still on the shelf next week. I didn't want to take away the opportunity of another fan to read the title. Lastyear is was sold out all the time.

Creepy bad guy, impossible odds, a stranded hero . . . . . good fun!

I love Jack Lawrence's art. His animated style is perfect for the book, and his bad guys look villianous without crossing the line into nightmarish. The flow of the panel sequences felt right and was well paced (kudos to writer Mike Bullock and editor Ron Marz for this also).

Mike's dialogue was great. It feels like you're watching/listening to a kid when you're reading it, and the characters come to life with their own vocabulary and manner of speaking.

My kids are gonna love this.

Thanks, Winslow! :)

Your welcome Mike.

I left the issue on my work desk, and forgot to take it home yesterday.

My kids were so ticked.

I have wondered what this comic is about?
I have seen pictures of children and named animals, but this is no children book?

It's all-ages, like literary work from Roald Dahl, C.S. Lewis . . . ..

Meaning it's appropriate for children, but adults may enjoy it too.

It's about stuffed animals that come to life to defend the kids that they belong to.
