To give the taxi driver a benefit of a doubt, I'm going to assume he only heard his passenger singing the words "London," "war is declared," and "meltdown." Also, that the driver had no idea the passenger was listening to music. Also, that the driver thought the singing was some form of chanting. Also, that people of Arabian descent are scary, oogy-boogy terrorists and not people who use a music system in taxis which allow them to plug in their MP3 players to listen to music of thier choice.

I'm remembering this from the paper I read this morning, so my memory may be fairly hazy, but I think he was playing the music to the taxi driver through his in car system in some manner.

Adam spent most of yesterday unconscious or away from his house. Adam never got around to turning on the computer, let alone going on the interwub. Adam even went to directly to bed after cleaning the dishes between 8:00 and 9:00 pm because he was so tired. (Though Adam did stay awake long enough to finish Perdido Street Station.) Adam blames this on the very exhausting Tuesday that had him helping Brother move, including driving down to brother's apartment to get brother out of bed in time for his plane to Calgary because he set his alarm too late.

And waiting two hours outside for the movers to come.
