Apparently, some dude in Toronto had the idea to get a whole mess o' people, get 'em tarted up as Zombies and wander through town moaning and shambling.
They had a follow-up one in Ottawa.

Well, last weekend (Sunday, to be precise), we had one in Brisbane. The turnout was massive, and some of the makeup including work by my good rockin' buddy Mace (the skinny guy in the suit with the contacts) and a few professional guys who'd worked on feckin' awesome Aussie Zombie film, Undead (http://www.undeadmovie.com/) - the guy with the blackened skin and exposed skull was one of them.

But in good news, most of the stuff I didn't like was just because I think it was done so, so much better in the comic. I think the filmmakers have been too ambitious with this one, trying to turn V for Vendetta into a Wachowski Brothers action film is like turning Wagner's Ring Cycle into an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

Ah, so true. And it's my favourite bit of the story, so I was waiting for it -- the denoument that never came. Sex without the climax. A mars bar with nothing left after you've nibbled the chocolate off. Hamlet without the pile of corpses.

So when you're in brisbane and you hear someone say "No, man, really, it's on Pol's navel," you know they're gonna have a good time.
