Why can't comic creators understand that they have readers and fans of all cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds, and as businesspeople, they need to be more careful with idiotic comments like these, things that could potentially alienate part of his fanbase...

Yeah...poor Tom Beland, he only married a puertorican woman and lived in the Island for 9 years and has been to all areas of the country, as opposed to Bendis who simply visited a marginal section and is already sh***ing on the entire country.

For Puertoricans, especially those living in a country that already has a colonialistic relation with Puerto Rico, these comments are especially inflaming...
Guys, I am not saying Bendis is a horrible person, he is only human and we all put our foot in our mouths sometimes, but can we at least understand why some people would be mad at him.

Nevermind that Bendis said he hated Cleveland too, Beland decided to talk mad **** on every city Bendis lived in for no reason I can see.
