I'm talking about just the first issue. Anyone giving DC a chance across the board?

I gave everything OYL a shoot, certain aspects have me debating leaving Marvel other aspects of DC do not.
I will take anything they have with decent characterization
((Batfamily and Manhunter))
I will stay away from anything Magic I hate magic an scifi blending
((Shadow Pact/ SHazaam))

not all. just most of the titles i'm already picking up (Manhunter, BoP) and a few of the new teams (Detective)
I'm just getting the titles I was sorta kinda already interested in.
DC could clone William Shakespeare and Michaelangelo and have them work on Aquaman but at the end of the day it's still about a dude who talks to fish.

I did. I've read every single one of them and posted my thoughts here (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=113506).
From here on in, I'm going to buy the "yeses", glance through the "maybes" on the shelf and buy the ones that look promising, and leave alone my only definitive "no". I figure that, by the time the third issue of each OYL title comes out, I'll have a good idea of what I'm reading and what I'm not.

I am, and I'm glad I did. All titles range from good to great! this OYL thing is awesome, it gave me a chance to try out books I've never pick up before. :)

I checked it out. Pretty good work.

I'm giving pretty much everything a shot. I did skip over Blood of the Demon, which I figured was pretty much "same old, same old." It's a character I just don't care for. (Didn't even like Kirby's version that much, and it's been downhill since then IMO.)
There may have been one or two others I skipped as well, but that's the only one I can think of at the moment. (However, there are a number of second issues I won't be picking up. ;) )

Don, I thought Kurt Busik's take on this this book was pretty promising. And personally, I think Butch (Ruse) Guice's art is better than Michaelangelo's.

LOL :D :D
I only got the ones I was interested in. Some I got because I already collected the books, while others like Aquaman I picked up and added to my pull list.

I don't know there were things i liked on all the titles ex cept
((Blood of the Demon)) and ((Aquaman))
I know just really getting heavy into collecting comics again that the passed few months i have tried dc books mostly OYL stuff an an isse or two before that.
I decided to really jump on collecting Marvel again with decimation an all of its relaunchs.
I have the dilemma that when do anything i have to go all the way so right its debating droping the familiar Marvel, an Picking up all DC
I can't do half an half I have to get the most of whats going on from either one universe or the other so for me its all marvel titles or all dc.
I guess thats alittle odd but oh well

I checked it out. Pretty good work.
Thanks!
Getting me to state my opinion is the easy part.
It's getting me to shut up that requires effort.

While I haven't purchased all of the titles, I've certainly checked them out in the store. I've picked up the books I read regularly (Legion of Superheroes JSA, Green Lantern), and added quite a few new titles to my pull list (Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis, Blue Beetle, Catwoman, Batman, Detective, Hawkgirl, Robin, Superman and Action)

I've got them all so far, and the only ones that made me cringe were Nightwing and Hawkgirl. I won't drop them yet, but if the next issues don't kick into gear (or, in Nightwing's case, improve upon the characterization immensely), I'll have to. All of the other titles are worth second glances at least.

Really there are just some books, revamo or not, that i just cant read. The characters or one thing or another never appeal to me. As for books like Aquaman, Ive always hoped someone would make a good Aquaman book and I lik e Busiek alot so i bought it. Its promising, not brilliant, but ill keep buying it hoping it pans out well. For the most part I only pick up the books that I read before or were OYL books for characters that i always liked but hadnt read as a monthly in years. Batman , Detective, Superman, Green Lantern, Aquaman. All of them were interesting but I have to say im more of a Marvel fan. And these OYL books have not made me nearly interested enough to read the 52 books.

i've been getting them all. I'm really enjoying this whole one year later thing. Thing is I'm a completist so I'll probably keep getting them. I've got a very low enjoyment threshold, I can enjoy nearly everthing that I read so that wont be much of a problem.

I've only bought the books that interested me and the ones that I had been buying.
I had been buying Green Lantern, Teen Titans, Batman.
With OYL I picked up Detective, Superman, Action, Nightwing.
I plan to at least look at Checkmate and The Flash, and definitely buy Wonder Woman and JLA.
Titles like Blue Beetle, Firestorm, Manhunter, JSA, Outsiders, Blood of the Demon, etc. don't interest me as much and I don't want to buy just every and any comic because it is part of an event.
Don, I thought Kurt Busik's take on this this book was pretty promising. And personally, I think Butch (Ruse) Guice's art is better than Michaelangelo's.
Still a dude who talks to fish.
I wish I could afford to but nope.
I was planning on picking up just the 2 Batman and 2 Superman books.
I decided on a spur of the moment to give the Robin book a chance.
The rest I'm pretty much waiting and reading the comments people make to decide.

I got them all--at least the ones that weren't sold out.
In hindsight, I think it was a mistake. The quality was below what I was expecting. A few were still fantastic, most were average to above average and a couple were horrific.
After everything settles down, I predict my pull list will be almost the same amount of titles as there was before.

No, I'm not picking up every OYL title, but it has gotten me back into the Batman and Superman books (great stories across multiple titles) and I've picked up my first Green Arrow book, ever. I looked at, but didn't buy Outsiders, Teen Titans, and Green Lantern. I did get the first OYL Firestorm and Nightwing books, but the jury is still out as to whether or not I'll be sticking with them.
