Brothers Birthday, looking for TPB recomendations

I will get like 5-6 of them. Anything from the 80's-mid 90's

I was thinking Watchmen, the Secret War trades, maybe crisis on infinite earths, maybe the dark knight returns.

He was into Firestorm, Batman, Captain America some image and valiant.

He doesnt collect now, I just wanted to get him something that would help make him feel less old.

Any recomendations?

Watchmen and TDKR are both great. Other great Batman TPBs are The Long Halloween and The Killing Joke. From Image, I'd say the best is Supreme: Story of the Year. Marvels by Busiek and Ross is also an excellent TPB. Those are my recs.
