So does this appearance have anything to do with the Teen Titans? Is it a team up?

What's the deal?

I haven't read a DC comic for a LOOOOOONNNGG time. I'm a Marvel fan, can't really stand DCs characters. But I used to love Captain Carrot and Teen Titans, so I thought I'd pick up these (2?) back issues just to check it out.

I've heard they are crap though.

What's the deal?? :)

not a team-up, it's an insert story. you get four pages of captain carrot comics sandwiched between TT. The story itself is alright, if you don't mind the fact that it develops nicely, then ends rather abruptly in one page. Really, DC has a lot of better stuff going on right now, but if your a CC fan, who can deal with the ultimatization of the Zoo Crew, it's a good read. The TT story is crap, though, the Captain Carrot tale was a lot more interesting to me. If you're a big fan of the oz-wonderland wars, this might not be your cup of tea. As a new CC fan, I thought it was really good though.

The Zoo Crew story was more of a commentary of comics in general and the lose of innonce in the main TT storyline.

the only thing about it was that it distracted me from the TT story, and i don't really know who CC is so i practically skipped it.

It's kind of like that pirate story in Watchmen, but with more appeal for the Furries.

But the Pirate story in Watchmen was relevant to the story in Watchmen as it's mirror, the Captain Carrot story really has nothing to do with the Teen Titans story that it shared pages with.

You apparently missed the point of the CC story then.

Instead of calling me a poo poo head who missed the point of the story, wouldn't it be better to explain how the story of Alley Kat-Abra becoming a mice hating Nazi has anything to do with Teen Titans. You know, as if you are actually stating an argument.

Maybe it was just me, but I saw Alley Kat-Abra killed the mouse becasue "cats hate mice" was a commentary on Jean Loring killing Sue Dibny because "she's crazy."

But that's just me.
