Yay - baseball season has started! Now I have something other than comics to distract me from work! :)
DC COMICS
AQUAMAN SWORD OF ATLANTIS #41 $2.99
I've got too many books on my reading list right now so this creative team gets this issue to hook me or else I'm giving up.
EX MACHINA #19 (MR) $2.99
I still can't quite pull the trigger on the switch to trades for this series.
INFINITE CRISIS #6 (OF 7) $3.99
As always, the George Perez cover for me!
OUTSIDERS #35 $2.50
TEEN TITANS #34 $2.50
I'm intrigued by the OYL jump. It feels like this book has been treading water since McKone left.
IMAGE
BOMB QUEEN #3 (OF 4) (MR) $3.50
If I could find issues #1 & 2, I'd think about this giving this series a try.
MARVEL
MARVEL TEAM-UP #19 $2.99
The old Invincible gang is all here! Kirkman, Walker & Crabtree with Rathburn tagging along for the fun.
MOON KNIGHT #1 $2.99
The Finch preview art for this looks amazing!
YOUNG AVENGERS #11 $2.99
No matter when it ships, this is always a great read.
Wait for Trade
PLANETARY - I've made the executive decision to wait until this series ends to get caught up.
Y THE LAST MAN - I think that BKV reads better in trades.

INFINITE CRISIS #6 (OF 7) $3.99
Jim Lee cover for me please. Who hasn’t seen the inking and coloring step-by-steps for this cover? Sandra Hope rocks!

PLANETARY #25 $2.99
Whats next? Anyone?
TEEN TITANS #34 $2.50
I like Tony Daniel. I also like that he and a lot of my other favorites are doing more mainstream Marvel and DC stuff. Here is a nice interview with Daniel. He talks about how his style has changed plus he is back with his old inking partner Kevin Conrad. http://comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=7014
LIONS TIGERS & BEARS VOL 2 CVR B WEIRINGO #1 (OF 4) $2.99
Getting this for the cover although I have heard good things about LT&B.
MARVEL TEAM-UP #19 $2.99
Maybe.
MOON KNIGHT #1 $2.99
More mainstream Marvel stuff from one of my favorites.
YOUNG AVENGERS #11 $2.99
CHEUNG!
TEEN TITANS VARIANT COVER #34 $2.50
MOON KNIGHT FINCH SKETCH VARIANT #1 $2.99
Listing these here even though I know most of you don’t bother with these type of things.

I like Daniel as well but have been unimpressed with his current DC run. I'm hoping that being paired with Kevin Conrad again will help me enjoy his stuff again.

Archenemies #1
Looks like it might be fun.
Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis #41
Just read #40 last night. I'm very willing to give this a longer leash.
Batman and the Monster Men #6
I'm pissed at myself for falling behind on this after loving #1 & 2.
Detective Comics #818
I'm liking. It's not the greatest thing Robinson's ever done, but I'm liking it.
Ex Machina vol. 3: Fact V. Fiction TP
Finally! This will be my first trade of new-to-me material.
Infinite Crisis #6
Jonah Hex #6
Great series! I never expected to enjoy this series anywhere near as much as I am. Every issue so far has been a standalone, self-contained adventure, so if you aren't reading this already, give it a shot.
OMAC Project Infinite Crisis Special
Kind of regretting ordering this.
Planetary #25
Intellectually I realize I should wait for trade, but IMO Ellis makes every issue worth it.
Robin: To Kill A Bird TP
P wanted it.
Team Zero #5
The action junkie in me is loving this.
Teen Titans #34
Giving the OYL a shot.
Astro GN
I pre-ordered it, but can no longer remember what it is. How embarrassing.
Lions, Tigers, and Bears vol. 2 #1
Boo-yah!!!
Annihilation: Silver Surfer #1
Giffen! One of the two Annihilations series I'm following.
Books of Lost Souls #6
I just read #1-4. I'm liking this a lot, but budget considerations may force this to wait-for-trade.
Essential Uncanny X-Men vol. 7 TP
I would like to be able to reread these stories without digging through a long box, and I have now given up hope on the Marvel Masterworks continuing with this series any further in the forseeable future.
Moon Knight #1
If I like the first few issues, I'll move to trade, but I'm really excited over this one. Much more than Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman, actually.
New Excalibur #6
Switched from trade to issue since Joe Q said the book's future wasn't looking too good.
Spider-Girl #97
Almost there.
Ultimate X-Men #69
Kirkman's first issue, right?
Young Avengers #11
Cool! Patricia won't let me read it first, of course, but at least it's out.
Wait for Trade

April 5, 2006:
Annihilation: Silver Surfer # 1 (of 4)
New Excalibur # 6
Marvel Team-Up # 19
Young Avengers # 11
I was also tempted by three new collections this week: UFF Vol. 5, Essential X-Men Vol. 7, and Ex Machina Vol. 3. I like the artists in all of those, so I may pick them up down the road. I'll have to research the story contents more to determine the odds on whether I'll enjoy them.
I didn't buy Moon Knight # 1 (as of yet anyway). That definitely gave me pause because I remember Marc Spector: Moon Knight # 1 as an early, if not the first, # 1 that I bought around the time I started reading comics. I did like the cover here. It almost lept off the shelf. The preview pages on the internet did not wow me as much as some. I think we've seen every urban hero chase down gun toting vehicular thugs (it was just in the new costume Spidey issue, and it was even in The Incredibles if you think it isn't ubiquitous). It is an urban environment staple of chaos and recklessness, so I can't really fault it, but it just didn't grab me this time. Flipping through the rest, I just didn't see much dialogue. It is easy enough to get the wrong impression without buying and reading, so I could have been wrong. Instead I decided to sample the much vaunted Kirkman in an issue I'm guessing won't sell nearly as well as MK, but nevertheless provides a similar period of nostalgia factor for me in the form of Wolverine and Jubilee.
