For those of us who fetishize the butchered U.S. versions of the Beatles' early albums (http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=4079595&title=V.2+Capitol+Albums+(4CD+Box...&artist=The+Beatles)
I *do* like this iteration of RUBBER SOUL more than the UK version. It's more folk rock in flavor.

Eh.
So when are they releasing remasters of their UK catalogue?

Don't know. It's money waiting to be made, but EMI/Capitol, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison don't seem to be eager to make it.

Jeepers, how many of these boxed sets are they going to make? What is different about this one?

They already did that back in the 1960s...but with good old fashioned airbrushes rather than digital technology.
