synchronical copies or multi dimensional captures?

are the earths that were "created" just empty copies or are they the original ones displaced from their previous to crisis existance?

i ask that because there was this moment when one of the flashes was fighting wildcat and all these interdimensional copies appeared, but then, in the infinite crisis 6 thread, they are speculating that these earths are copies... can anyone clarify this for me, please?

I think they've been recreated. After COIE, those earths never existed, so I don't see how they could be displaced from before that event. Then again, I don't know how AL could have recreated them at all, unless he had access to the Monitor's logs or some other device that documented each of the various earths and their properties.

The whole point of the machine was to use people from different earths as a kind of starter.

Apparently, even in the single, post-Crisis DCU, the Marvels, the Charlton heroes, Power Girl, Martian Manhunter, The Ray all had distinct "energies" that served as a template for the split.
