Opinions on Jacob's Ladder

I'm a huge Silent Hill fan. From the developer interviews I've read about the series Jacob's Ladder has been a huge influence on the games. I decide maybe I should see this movie. Is this movie avaliable on DVD? While I'm at it, what's everyone's opinion on this movie?

Jacob's Ladder is a movie that you have to see. Tim Robbins gave a great perfromance. Just rent the movie.

awesome movie, one of my favorites. the first time i played Silent Hill, i thought it had the same type of creepiness that i got from Jacob's Ladder...it was cool to hear it was an influence.
