I have this little Disney questionaire for those of us who are still children at heart.
. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least.
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie?
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie?
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie?
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies?
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad?
7. What is your favorite Disney moment?
Me:
1. Probably Mary Poppins. That or Lady and the Tramp. I'm not sure, I was watching movies (not just Disney) basically from the moment I was born.
2. It's a toss-up between The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Lady and the Tramp.
3. Mary Poppins. Classic. I also love Pete's Dragon (which is live-action but has an animated character), but most people don't even remember that one, let alone like it.
4. Pocahontas, no doubt about it. Because I'm from that area of Virginia. I can tell you, most of us here were not pleased to see our little princess turned into a voluptuous Barbie doll. And I'll be damned if there are ANY waterfalls like that anywhere around here. I doubt the film makers had ever even been to Virginia in the first place. Horrible movie.
5. Tough choice. "Feed The Birds" from Mary Poppins. "Candle on the Water" from Pete's Dragon (that one won an Oscar, I believe). "When You Wish Upon A Star" from Pinocchio.
6. In general, a bad idea. I hated most of them. "The Little Mermaid 2" was the worst. However, "The Lion King 2" was actually pretty good.
7. Either the "Feed the Birds" scene in Mary Poppins, the "Part of Your World" scene in The Little Mermaid, or the spaghetti kiss scene in Lady and the Tramp.

1. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least. Tron. I was like 3 years old when I saw it. It was cool then, and it is cool now.
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie? The Lion King. I'm not a big animated movie fan. This is one of the few I can stomach. I would give honorable mention to The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, The Black Caulderen, and Robin Hood.
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie? Pirates of the Caribbean the Curse of the Black Pearl. This movie had everything and it was fun to boot. Honorable Mention goes to Tron, Swiss Family Robinson, Treasure Island, and Darby O'Gill and the Little People.
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie? Beauty and the Beast. One of the most overrated movies EVER. End of story.
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies? Hakuna Matada? I guess.
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad? Bad. Episode I bad.
7. What is your favorite Disney moment? When Walt Disney's head wanted to eat Cuban Children and was killed by Castro on Robot Chicken.

1. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least. Either Bambi or Sleeping Beauty. I vaguely remember them from the theaters and don't know which my mom took me too first.
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie? If we can count Pixar then its Toy Story 2 by far. Otherwise its Beauty and the Beast.
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie? Pirates of the Caribbean
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie? The Rescuers
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies? Anything from Beauty and the Beast.
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad? Haven't seen many of them, mostly just heard them while my kids were watching and I was doing something else. The one I have seen - one of the Aladdin ones - wasn't very good.
7. What is your favorite Disney moment? The fight between the ships in Pirates of the Caribbean.

1. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least.
SLEEPING BEAUTY -- the dragon scared the bejjebers outta me at age 4.5
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie?
I like FUN AND FANCY FREE, MAKE MINE MUSIC, and THREE CABOLLEROS equally well because they represented the last gasp of Disney's purely experimental forays into feature films. By the 1950s everything had to be plot driven. Of the traditional Disney animated features, I'd say LADY AND THE TRAMP
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie?
20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie?
SUPER-DAD
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies?
"This Is The Night" from LADY AND THE TRAMP
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad?
All in all, good. Not equal to the originals, but most of them are enjoyable.
7. What is your favorite Disney moment?
"All The Cats Join In" from MAKE MINE MUSIC. An incredbile choreography of music and animation, and filled with cute girls to boot!

1. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least. I have no idea. But for some reason, Alice in Wonderland sticks out for me...maybe that was the first one? Pfft, who knows?
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie? The Little Mermaid
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie? Man of the House starring Chevy Chase and JTT. :D
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie? Most of the newer stuff, pretty much anything Pixar post Bug's Life.
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies? Let's see, those that stand out: A Whole New World (Aladdin), Be Prepared (Lion King), We Are Siamese (Lady and the Tramp), Poor Jack (Nightmare Before Christmas), Go The Distance (Hercules), Kiss the Girl (Little Mermaid), I'll Make a Man Out of You (Mulan), The Mob Song (Beauty and the Beast)
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad? For the most part, pretty crappy. I liked the second Lion King, though. But some are just unecessary. I mean, Bambi 2? Wtf?
7. What is your favorite Disney moment? Ursula's final moments in The Little Mermaid. I'm a huge Ursula fan, so when she gloats out "So much for true love!" only to get impaled, I was deliciously shocked.

1. What was your first Disney movie? The first you can remember, at least.
I think it was Bambi, or maybe Fantasia.
2. What is your favorite Disney animated movie?
I think Fantasia.
3. What is your favorite Disney live-action movie?
Something Wicked this way comes
4. What is your least favorite Disney movie?
Cant think of one I particularly dislike. But probably Little Mermaid. Too girly for my tastes (And I've watched Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, so thats saying something.)
5. What are your favorite songs from Disney movies?
"Be prepared" from the Lion King. Call me old fashioned but I've always been a fan of the villainous musical number.
6. Direct-to-video sequels: good or bad?
depends. The Aladdin movie sequals were as good as the original IMHO, but I think alot of the recent ones leave something to be desired.
7. What is your favorite Disney moment?
The "Night on bald mountain" sketch from Fantasia. Only Disney movie with a demonic rave.

1. First Disney Movie Seen: Wow, couldn't tell you that one. Wouldn't even venture a guess.
2. Favorite Disney Animated Film: Three Caballeros . Just for the colors, Walt's experimentation between live action and animation, great songs and great cast of characters. Hon Mention: Fantasia
3. Favorite Disney Live Action Film: Definitely Bebknobs and Broomsticks . I love this one. Hon Mentions: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Pirates of Carribbean
4. Least Favorite Disney Movie: A toughie. I'm going to say all the remakes of former Disney films from days past; you know crap like Herbie w/Lindsey Lohan and the likes. Also newer crap like Snow Dogs, Little Giants. Its a shame when the parent company runs out of ideas and has to remake already crappy films.
5. Favorite Disney Songs: Another toughie. Here's a few that I love:
- Portebello Road and Subsitutinary Locomotion in Bebknobs and Broomsticks
- Bear Neccessities in Jungle Book
- Whale of a Tale in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
- Cruella DeVille in 101 Dalmations
6. Direct to Video; Good/Bad: Definitely bad. A variation on my answer to #4, its a shame when a parent company runs out of ideas and deceides to continue on a set story with an inane sequel.....wow, you're good.
7. Favorite Disney Moment: Got a couple-
A Night On Bald Mountain - Brilliantly executed and just wicked.
The Haunted Knights vs. the Nazis in Badknobs and Broomsticks

1. The Jungle Book. It's also probably the one I've seen the most.
2. A toss up between Jungle Book (my grandpa and I always watched that one together), Peter Pan, and The Black Cauldron.
3. Easily 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. That movie is simply fantastic, Mason is also the greatest Captain Nemo ever. Second favorite is Pirates of the Carribean.
4. I would say Herbie with Lohan but I haven't seen it. Probably that one with the cows trying to save the farm.
5. Too many to narrow down. The one thing Disney does well consistently is its songs.
6. Mind numbingly bad.
7. Any scene in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
