A Public Radio show was interested in talking about Loaded Bible. They were also interested in comic fans who thought it was offensive or in bad taste. i know a number of you had posted on the previous thread about it, or PMed me...please let me know if you'd be interested. I don't have the private email address of most of you.
Thanks!

Not knowing anything about this comic... Why are some readers finding it offensive?

Just curious.

I found this comic to be really tame actually. I wanted some hardcore Jesus fucking. I think Battle Pope was ten times more hardcore. The fact anyone got upset by this shows that teabags are not used enough.

Stay Portorrican.

PS. I had an idea for a clone of Jesus battling a cloned Muhammad (I hired some dutch cartoonist). Thanks, if I do that, they'll say I ripped of 'Loaded Bible'.

Because Jesus uses the N-Word alot... kind of like Garth Ennis.

I love Battle Pope, but while it started strong and was always funny, the 2nd half of its run hasn't aged well in re-reads.

I've only read the first Loaded Bible one-shot (have the TPB at home - will be reading it this week when I'm on vacation at Comic-Con) but what I read was decent and interesting. Kinda itching to see the later issues.

Also, I don't think it's fair to compare these 2 - since BP was largely done for humor's sake, while LB, as much as I've read of it, wasn't.
