NRAMA: The Intimidators is billed as created by Jim Valentino, and is written by you. What kind of relationship do you and Jim have when it comes to thinking up where the book is going?
NK: Jim and I don't talk about our relationship much. We dated for a brief period in the eighties and well, we found we were better off as friends. As far as the comic goes, I hammer a plot together one week, Jim looks it over and we shout, point, laugh and discuss obscure rock band references before Kris comes in and makes us play nice like good little boys. I make revisions to the plot as per Jim and Kris, they approve and I do the same to the script - Jim's pretty easygoing. As long as I don't drop a character like Swastika Jones, Fascist P.I. into the mix without telling him (that name's copyrighted, folks!) or some pervy nonsense like that, we're pretty much a-okay.
