Mine would be Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart the time when Michaels one the Belt.

Tables, Ladders, and chairs.

I mean: Christian/Edge vs. Dudley Boys vs. Hardy Brothers

That match was so intense and had me on the edge of my seat.

I always liked the Flair/Funk I quit match.

For me it would be Chris Benoit/Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble 2003, and Bret Hart/British Bulldog at Summerslam '92.

Now that was a damned fine match. I liked that one better than the Steamboat/Flair match that is supposed to be the greatest match ever (although that wasn't half bad either). Kurt Angle's had a few that are up there, too, but Flair/Funk is my favorite.

Taker vs Shawn Michaels, HIAC 1

Runner-up would be Bret Hart vs Curt Hennig at King of the Ring '93.

The greatest non-stipulation straight match of all time was Angle/HBK at WM 21.

My new favorite is the 30 minute ultimate submission match between Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit at some Backlash when Kurt had hair. Great matchup.

Steamboat/Flair or Steamboat/Savage? Steamboat/Savage is the greatest pure wrestling match hands down. TLC 1 was real good also.

Shawn Michaels Vs Bret Hart.
Wrestlemania 12.
Iron Man Match.

An hour of awesome wrestling from arguably the two best stars in the business at that time. The match went the full hour without a fall from either wrestler.

The match ends. Bret walks out with the belt assuming that as he lasted the hour, he retains.

NO!!!

Gorilla Monsoon rules that the match continues under sudden-death rules. "There must be a winner".

Bret goes back in the ring and begins to beat on an already messed-up Michaels (he had taken a bit of a kicking particularly toward the end of the fight). Then, out of nowhere BANG!!! Sweet Chin Music!!!

Both wrestlers fall to the floor and look to be struggling to get up. Michaels is pulling himself to his feet in one corner, Hart in another.
Michaels starts tuning up the band, Bret gets to his feet and turns around...
BANG!!!!

Another Sweet Chin (perfectly delivered, I might add) and the roll-up for the win.

Shawn Michaels was my favorite wrestler at the time (and still is, though I haven't watched anything but TNA since WM21) and I was literally in tears at the end of this match. What a show.

disco inferno vs la parka superbrawl 98:D no really though it was actually a damn good match. the whole ppv was prety damn good actually, you also had booker t vs rick martel for the tv title with the winner having to face saturn immeadiately afterwards, you had CW title vs mask match between juvi and jericho, you had steiner bros vs the outsiders in which scotty turned, benoit vs ddp for the US title, and hollywood hogan vs sting, which wasn't great but at the time must see.

Steamboat/ Savage was just awesome and it had a real history behind it has well.

Flair/ Funk I Quit Match- stunned that Funk said the words.

Mankind/ Taker Hell in a Cell- Not great wrestling wise but it made me respect what Mick Foley and Taker are willing to do to make sure each and every fan gets thier money's worth.

You could really feel how much winning that title meant to Benoit and then his best friend Eddie comes down after he too has won his title and they embrace in the ring. It was one of the most genuine and heartfelt moments in WWE history. These two men who where told for years that they would never make it that they where too small standing there on wrestlings biggest stage realizing a dream.

Awesome Awesome moment

Most of my favorites have been mentioned, but I'll toss out the first Joe/Daniels/AJ TNA 3 way and Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Malenko, 2 out of 3 falls in ECW.

Yeah. I was all excited about the match, and then they had the great finish and celebration. Them both being in the ring as champions is my favorite wrasslin' moment.

The ten man Hart Foundation VS WWF match from Canadian Stampede is the one that springs to mind as the best all round.

The Eddie-Rey match at Halloween Havoc '97 was a MOTYC but they had one one Smackdown in 2005, that should be mandatory viewing for all aspiring wrestlers. Eddie does the best heel work I've seen in any match ever.

You can't have a list like this without mentioning the Bret Hart/Stone Cold match where Austin passed out. That was some damn good stuff.

That match blew me away, fast, furious and technically brilliant.

My all time favorite match would have to be Rob Van Damn vs Jerry Lynn at Hardcore Heaven 99 (I think it was that year) where Lynn busts his nose on the concrete, and finally earns the complete respect of the fans as a competetor equal to RVD.

Though the match that completely hooked me into wrestling forever and probably beats the above match for sentimental value was at a live show where Terry Funk fought Greg the Hammer Valentine. They fought through the crowd, over the bleachers where I was sitting. I was still only 10 years old and thought wrestling was still real so was scared and in awe at the same time. Especialy since I had already seen Funk beat up my favorite wrestler at the time Ric Flair :)

My friend let me borrow his Wrestlemania III DVD. I had no knoledge of any of the story lines, and only the barest slums of knoledge about the wrestlers. But it was freaking awesome.
Ricky Steamboat vs Macho Man Randy Savage (Intercontinental title match)
Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant (WWF Championship match)

2 Greatest Matches Ever.

And for 2 totally different reasons.

Savage/Steamboat for the ringwork.

Hogan/Andre is basically 19 minutes of Andre beating Hogan's ass, but the story behind it and within it.....it had the feel of epicness that is matched by very few other matches Ive ever seen.

I could go on and on about that match and the set-up to it....
