Guess who won Motley Crue tickets? If you guessed BigJayStudd then you would be wrong. My cousin actually did and we are getting hammered and catching them Live this Saturday night! But I need your guys help....
Do I wear the Jean Jacket and take the Trans-Am or do I wear the Spandex pants with matching tank top and take the Camero?
I just hope they don't try to play any newer shit and stick to the classics.

I'm not sure whether I should congratulate you or pity you.
Don't forget to perm your hair, wear tight leather pants with a ripped neon muscle t-shirt and drive the IROC-Z.

Now it's a little too obvious that you're kidding.
IROC = I Reek Of Cologne.
According to "Good Morning, Brooklyn!" from SNL, IROC= Italian Retard Out Cruising.

Motley Crue??? Are they still alive?
Clearly the only question that needs to be asked is how the hell did they manage that?

I'm kidding about the get-up but I am going to see them in concert on Saturday. Hopefully I get to see a bunch of MILF's lifting up thier shirts.

You won't have to worry about a crowd it appears. The recent concert they gave in Roanoke VA only sold about 2,000 tickets.

The first half of the show (before intermission) is strictly material from Too Fast For Love and Shout at the Devil. The second half of the show covers Theater of Pain, Girls Girls Girls, Dr. Feelgood and two or three new songs.

Axl Rose? Did he win tickets? He needs to see what working musicians age like really!

Motley Crue are not doing well if they are not showcasing new material. When did they become a nostalgia act?

What in God's name would ever have made you believe that this "reunion" was about showcasing new material? As far as them not doing well, I can't speak to current ticket sales, but at the beginning of this tour they were bringing in about a half a million dollars per week per band member, and that's nothing to turn your nose up at. Truth be told, my guess is that this tour was as much about giving Mick Mars one last shot at a big payday to help pay for what must be some huge medical bills related to his condition.

If the bulk of the material is past glory songs, it's a nostalgia act. The band might be relevent if they had new material. Sure, they are making money on the past. If this is a defintion of being "successful," then they are successful. But I see the lack of new material are not being successful at all. I see the band trying to live in the past by playing golden oldies from the 80's.

Of course it's a nostalgia act. I was a fan back in when they were an ongoing concern, and I got free tickets to see them on their recent tour, and they were great, amazing show, but I can't believe I'll ever have interest in new music from them. People go to hear the songs that made them famous and to relive a little bit of their past. Pure entertainment.

That's pretty much why I am going. Free tickets and to see them sing thier hits. I really have no interest in any new material either.
